Historic day at General Conference as the UMC removes exclusionary language concerning gay and lesbian people from our Book of Discipline 93% to 7%. Proud of our church today.

The World's Littlest Skyscraper, also known as the Newby-McMahon Building, was built in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1919
The building was the result of a fraudulent investment scheme by a man named J.D. McMahon
McMahon convinced investors that he would build a 40-story skyscraper in Wichita Falls. However, he intentionally did not specify the units on the blueprints, which were inches instead of feet
As a result, the building that was actually built was only 40 feet tall but only 118 square feet per floor
