But when all options for higher education are so overpriced and there is very little competitive pressure to bring prices down because of the accreditation game then consumers don’t have much choice. Unlike housing when you typically have the option to rent.
@DanPriceSeattle@TheFarquaad Using your credit card responsibility is about shows banks you know how to responsibly use a line of credit. You know this though don’t you.
@AlpacaAurelius I think it’s the medications, from Advil to albuterol to antidepressants, most Americans are on some sort of medication. Drugs subtly modulate the system and disrupt the gut microbiome. Somehow Europeans avoid this.
@LifeWithArjay @Airbnb@AirbnbHelp@bchesky Apparently, the LL denied the smoking and that was enough for them. I went back-and-forth with them for weeks, but they had no interest in providing any sort of customer satisfaction. I will never ever use Airbnb again.
@LifeWithArjay @Airbnb@AirbnbHelp@bchesky I had a similarly awful Airbnb experience. 37 weeks pregnant, landlord compulsively smoked pot and cigarettes in the downstairs unit. We moved to a hotel. Airbnb wouldn’t refund the unused portion of our stay because I couldn’t prove the existence of the smoke.
