@SethAbramson States have effectively neutered the feds policy on this anyway so i think it may not be a bad idea to take a conservative position on this one for right now. Wouldn’t surprise me if he signed federal legalization legislation at all.

@SethAbramson To be fair, he’s going to be walking a fine line in the next 12 months. This stance appeals to maintaining status quo and, therefore, potential conservative cross over voters. I expect to see more of this. Not less. But he can’t alienate millennials either. Tricky. Very tricky
