For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter.
AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country.
Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty.
The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models.

it's one click in buzz to make a local model available to agents AND share your compute with other people.
just one.
and your agents will automatically chose the largest/best shared model available.
Bitcoin works when it moves. That only works if we build the systems underneath.
Today:
• New @Bitkey hardware wallet
• Bitcoin 5% Back and BTC P2P on @CashApp
• NFC tap to pay and bitcoin toggle coming to @Square
• Proof of Reserves across the ecosystem
We’re building the infrastructure, so customers can actually use it.
We’re making it easier for millions of businesses to accept bitcoin.
Starting today, eligible U.S. @Square sellers will begin having Bitcoin payments automatically enabled.
Sellers who accept bitcoin will receive USD as default.
This is how bitcoin as everyday money begins.
Cash App is built for living on bitcoin.
We’re making foundational changes that help make bitcoin everyday money.
Starting today you will see:
Zero to low fee bitcoin buys on Cash App
- No fees on large bitcoin buys
- No fees bitcoin on recurring buys
- No fee bitcoin spending via Lightning Network
Higher withdrawal limits (if you qualify)
Plus, every bitcoin you buy on Cash App is held 1:1. So if you buy it, Cash App holds it, and you have 24/7 access to withdraw it anytime.

Saylor is threatened by devs, since he prefers himself as the sole authority on Bitcoin, (in particular its definition),
The problem is that Saylor is quite inept:
- Only up +16.96% lifetime
- Joined very late (ie 2020)
- zero code, GitHub comments, mailing list emails, technical articles, etc
- his original ideas have all failed / been abandoned ("Microstrategy Orange" ordinals, Bitcoin Mining Council, digital commodity, Treasury companies)
People keep Saylor around, to sell tickets and because he is rich. But meanwhile, we lost people like Peter Thiel (much richer and smarter).
Eventually -- Bitcoiners will turn on Saylor. (But it might take a while.)
(Take note of who did it early, vs who was a mere copycat!)
