Suella Braverman makes it crystal clear why the Makerfield by-election is out of the ordinary.
If they choose Andy Burnham they are choosing the next Prime Minister, it will be open borders on steroids, it will be refugee welfare on speed, he wants to take us back into the EU and he thinks a man can be a woman.
Reform are the only party who can stop Burnham and a vote for anyone other than Reform UK is a vote for Burnham.

🇬🇧 More than 150 kebab takeout shops across Britain have been given government licences to hire workers directly from overseas through a new visa program.
Crucially, the licences not only allow the Kebab shops to hire workers from abroad, but once those workers are in, they will be allowed to bring family members into the UK.
There are over 1.8 million people unemployed in the UK, but yeah, why not bring in more overseas workers, because this is clearly a highly skilled job.
The UK is a joke

Breaking. John Healey Resigns. Starmer Told NATO Russia Could Attack By 2030. His Own Defence Secretary Says The Funding Does Not Match The Threat.
John Healey is not a rebel. He is not a troublemaker. He is one of Starmer's most loyal and trusted allies. A man who spent four years in opposition preparing for the job of Defence Secretary. He has resigned this morning because Rachel Reeves refused to fund the defence of this country adequately at the most dangerous moment in Europe since the Second World War.
His resignation letter says the Treasury has been unwilling to commit the resources the nation needs. The Defence Investment Plan falls well short of what is required. It rises to just 2.68 percent of GDP in 2030. He says that without a plan that meets the moment he is being forced to make decisions that would reduce the readiness of our forces, increase the risk to personnel on operations and could make the country less safe. He had no other option but to resign.
Starmer told NATO last week that Russia could attack by 2030. That is not a political statement. That is the British government's own intelligence assessment shared with our allies. Healey has resigned because the money allocated does not match the threat his own Prime Minister publicly named to our NATO partners just seven days ago.
Rachel Reeves has chosen the fiscal rules over the defence of the realm. Starmer has allowed her to. And the man responsible for our armed forces has concluded he cannot in good conscience continue.
In the most dangerous security environment since the Cold War a Labour government has just lost its Defence Secretary over money. That is not a governing party. That is a liability.
Chief Treasury Secretary Lucy Rigby has defended the Government’s decision to not reduce interest rates on student loans, saying the money is being used to fund benefit schemes including ‘free breakfast clubs’ and lifting the two child benefit cap.
Trapping graduates in a lifetime of debt in order to fund breakfasts for children whose parents should be feeding them at home is not beneficial to anyone - children, families or young adults starting out in life.
In May 1944, 23-year-old Phyllis Latour jumped out of a US bomber and parachuted into occupied Normandy, France. Her mission was to gather information about Nazi positions in preparation for D-Day. Once on the ground, she quickly buried her parachute and clothes, and began a secret mission that would last four months, pretending to be a poor teenage French girl.
Phyllis had been trained by the British Special Operations Executive (SOE). She learned how to send secret messages in Morse code, how to fix wireless radios, and how to spy without being caught. She also went through tough physical training in the Scottish highlands. Phyllis wanted to get revenge on the Nazis who had killed her godfather.
Phyllis said, “The men who had been sent before me were caught and killed. I was chosen because I would be less suspicious.” She would ride a bicycle through the region, pretending to sell soap, and secretly pass messages to the British about German locations. She acted like a country girl chatting with German soldiers to avoid raising suspicion. She moved from place to place to stay hidden and often slept in forests finding her own food.
Phyllis also came up with a clever way to hide her secret codes. She wrote them on a piece of silk and pricked it with a pin each time she used a code. She kept it hidden inside a hair tie. Once when the Germans briefly detained her and searched her she took out the hair tie and let her hair fall, showing she had nothing to hide. In the summer of 1944, Phyllis sent 135 coded messages helping Allied bombers find German targets.
After the war, Phyllis married and moved to New Zealand. Her children didn’t know about her wartime service until 2000, when her oldest son found out online. This hero passed on October 7, 2023. May she rest In peace.
In 1920, six-year-old Nancy Bentley was bitten by a venomous snake near Port Arthur, Tasmania. With her condition worsening and medical help far away, her father rushed her to HMAS Sydney, a Royal Australian Navy warship anchored nearby.
A problem quickly emerged: naval regulations at the time prohibited civilians from receiving treatment aboard warships, and women and girls were not allowed on naval vessels at all.
Determined to save her life, Captain Henry Cayley came up with an extraordinary solution. Nancy was officially enlisted into the Royal Australian Navy and given the rating of "mascot," making her a temporary member of the ship's crew. This allowed doctors to legally treat her onboard.
After receiving care, Nancy recovered and was formally discharged from the Navy just eight days later.
The remarkable incident made Nancy Bentley both the first female and the youngest person ever enlisted in the Royal Australian Navy.. a title she still holds more than a century later.
My lad @DShut7946 has transformed this wasteland on our estate to something that young kids use and have a kick about with their pals.
He doesn't want college full time and is desperate for an apprenticeship, unfortunately there hard to come by😟
Anyone know any in cental lancs
This is madness.
We have ONE MILLION young people who are NEETs, graduates crying out for a job and yet the government wants to pay to bring foreigners here.
Why can’t we invest in our own and put the British people first?
Peter, this is complete misinformation. I've never refused a DBS check. I actually have an enhanced DBS check for work and sports coaching.
I have already provided Wigan Council with a copy of my DBS certificate. Check your facts before spreading lies.
🚨 The London Underground is now totally free to use! Incredible. I just watched a man push through the barriers in front of Transport for London employee. He didn’t do a thing. I asked why? He told me it is now formal @TfL policy that staff cannot ask fare dodgers to pay. What an utter piss take.
I’ve been calling this out for some time.
Universities are handing out student visas to people with no intention of studying / they just want to get into the UK.
I found London campuses supposedly containing thousands of students in buildings that could only hold a fraction of that number.
