In this time of test and tribulation (fitnah) we in the West are being confronted by many individuals belonging to Wahhabiyyah sect who call themselves scholars and ambassadors of Islam and try to advocate the religion according to their whims and desires. Unknowingly, our ears are getting exposed to their poison which will slowly intoxicate our hearts and take away the traditional understanding of the religion and make us fall into people of innovation (bid’ah), or even worse, lead us to the archway of disbelief (kufr) - Allah forbid! Especially our youngsters who have just step foot on the path of seeking knowledge, often get exposed to the wrong speakers and preachers and base their choice of searching upon appearance and speech instead of traditional scholarship.

The rightly guided group of Islam is Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l Jama’ah. They are the Hanafis, Malikis, Shafi’is, Hanbalis, Atharis (Mufawwidah), Maturidis and Ash’aris. They are the majority of the Ummah and they will remain so until the End Times. Anyone who does not belong to them is from the cults, who will always remain the minority. Below we want to share with you all a list of some of the trustworthy english speaking scholars from Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l Jama’ah. Additionally, bear in mind that this list is very limited, nevertheless, we’ve tried our best to show some scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l Jama’ah whom all can benefit from through their work, da’wah and lectures available on YouTube and the Internet.
