🚨 ORACLE WARS: Flare’s Lightning-Fast Enshrined Oracles vs Chainlink’s Trillion-Dollar Empire — Who Wins DeFi?
1/12
Flare has enshrined oracles baked into its L1.
Chainlink runs standalone Decentralized Oracle Networks (DONs) across 100+ chains.
Both solve the oracle problem… but in VERY different ways.
Deep dive + visuals below 👇 #Flare #Chainlink #DeFi
@ToddAlgo@saadakb27044496 Stellar burned undistributed tokens from treasury that did not form part of supply in the market.
FIRE’s mandate would to use its non FLR earnings to buy and burn FLR from the market.
Nothing is ever irrespective of market conditions. But if I’m proud of anything I am proud of how we have been able to manage our burn relative to our funding levels to make sure we always have runway that almost every other entity in the space would be jealous of. I think on of the great things of coming from a hedge fund is that it gave me the discipline to manage Flare Foundation capital in a sensible way.
7 million FXRP minted today. 1.1B FLR locked as collateral - almost 1.5% of the current circulating supply. 44m XRP being staked with @Firelightf. 70 XRPs are generating yield. 30% of all FXRP are on Firelight. 50% deployed in DeFi. And we have not even started!
Not much more to say. I hope you get it by now. Hu🐐 was right, @FlareNetworks has brought unbelievable utility to XRP holders - and I don’t mean that in a bad way.
As always. Onwards and Upwards 🚀
Ummmm. That'll take years! If only some entity had come up with this years ago and had been worked on it meticulously. If only...😜 $FLR #Flare $SGB #Songbird
Multichain topic at Swell: the discussion around the flaws of bridges in making digital assets portable across blockchain is hitting a conceptual limit for interoperability. The discussion is giving way to using state connectors to validate state across chains in lieu. I can only think of one protocol that has focused on this specific problem.
The Internet of Value will not scale only via L2s, it will scale horizontally across L1s , load balancing and with low switching costs and no cross chain double spends / claims.
While the pointless debate on the payments issue between lovers of #LINK and #XRP continues, we thought it would be useful to analyze the core functionality of both LINK and #FLR as it relates to Oracles. This is the result: we welcome your feedback to make corrections.
FXRP v1.2 is now live on Songbird.
This isn’t just another release - it’s a major security milestone ahead of Flare mainnet.
Backed by a multi-layered security process: audits, bug bounties, and live testing.
Now focused on strengthening monitoring systems, upgrading agents, and expanding dApp integrations.
Our commitment: delivering the security institutions demand.
We are preparing to launch FAssets v1.2 on Songbird next week.
This launch is part of our multi-layered security process. We've completed the @zellic_io audit and have high confidence in the code's robustness based on internal reviews. The final Zellic audit report is forthcoming.
To facilitate this launch, a scheduled system upgrade is required on Wednesday, August 20th. The FAssets system will be paused for up to 8 hours, starting in the morning UTC. During this time, minting and redemption of FAssets will be temporarily unavailable.
Once the upgrade is complete, FAssets v1.2 will be live on Songbird. No action is required from collateral providers, token holders and any users. We will notify you once the upgrade is completed and FXRP v1.2 is fully functional on Songbird.
Thank you for your continued support as we build out the future of XRPFi and beyond ☀️
