PI in China Pharmaceutical University. Focus on chemical proteomics, PTM and metabolomics. Interested in probing how metabolites and drugs regulate proteins.
We are very excited to share our new study @nchembio with @KateCarrollLab, expanding the ligandable/druggable space in the cysteine redoxome. This paper represents 6-yr hard works, led by Ling Fu and Youngeun Jung.

Welcome to join us on Aug 10th 2 pm (Beijing time) and follow Prof. Bernhard Kuster to decryt drug MoA using chemoproteomics and phosphoproteomics!@kusterlab
Thrilled to announce that pChem is now online @nchembio. This easy-to-use computational too provides a streamlined pipeline for unbiased performance assessment of chemoproteomic probes. 1/n

We are so excited to share our newest manuscript @NatureProtocols! This protocol shows how to use Skyline to evaluate lipidomic data & took 1.5 yrs in review😅(thanks reviewers). It has a 4D lipidomic library & datasets to try. Way to go @KaylieKirkwood!

The detection of metabolites has come a long way.
This Perspective in @Cell_Metabolism by @kadzuis@yaneslab & @MartinGiera looks back on the history of metabolite identification, current & new tech, and where the field of metabolomics is going

@naturemethods@DrArunimaSingh@HuiYe93121721@FemalesInMS Thank you for your patience and help when handling our work during the past 9 mon! We are so excited that it is online! This work has received tons of attention in China but most of them can't tweet😀I hope more people will be interested in digging dark matter from the proteome!
@galliganlab It was not discussed in the section where we demonstrated the regulatory role of Klac on glycolysis because we specifically introduce L-lac to ALDOA rather than D-lac. There was a discussion on these two PTMs, and we feel sorry about cutting it due to word limit during revision.
@galliganlab Dear Dr. Galligan, we certainly have read your paper on Cell Chem Biol which reports the formation of D-lactylation. It has been cited as ref 19 in the main text.
What a fun celebration with @LiResearch group members! Congratulations to Mike and Meng on your well-earned PhDs! We will miss you. Good luck and best wishes for your new positions @GileadSciences and @BrukerMassSpec !
Thank Lingjun for the 5-year hard-core mass spec traning and continuing support along the way! Hopefully more functional interplay between metabolites and proteins can be discovered with powerful MS techniques😀😀😀
A cyclic immonium ion as diagnostic ion led to proteome wide discovery of lysine lactylation. Congratulations to former @LiResearch alum Prof. @HuiYe93121721 and her colleagues @HuiYeLabCPU1 on this great work published in @naturemethods !#PTM
@Gaoyuan_Lu Thank you for helping us to increase our work's visibility! We hope that more researchers are willling to dig deep to mine the dark matter in the human proteome!
Thank Nature Methods for publishing our work! With the cycIm ion, we found that lactylation is a widespread and functional PTM in human. Proteomics, molecular biology and chem biology tools are jointly used. It was a team effort! Thank @LingjunLi2@GrahamDelafield for support!
Hui Ye and colleagues report the cyclic immonium ion as a diagnostic fragment ion for lysine lactylation. They analyzed various enriched and unenriched proteome databases to demonstrate prevalence of this PTM beyond histones. @HuiYe93121721@FemalesInMS
