@Bflobourbonbabe You want something sweet & spicy to balance the shrimp & grits, like 4R small batch. For your smoked pork chop, you need savory and complex. Look at some of the 95/5 rye options, Dickel Rye works well, but if you want more obscure / pricy, Leopold makes incredible ryes!
@Bourbontruth The only brand that can come close to being included in this is Wild Turkey 101. A straightforward product that always delivers. The quality is there, but if you just want a shot and beer, it’s solid.
@OpinionMerchant@TaylorCope1982 Sorry bro. Seagram’s 7 refers to the 7 whiskies that went into it. 35% rye bourbon, 20% rye bourbon, 99% corn (light) whiskey, a 51% rye, and 95/5 rye.
Do you think all this aged stock was just sitting waiting for an NDP to use it for their grandfathers recipe?
@TaylorCope1982 The disconnect between the quality of the sourced WFE bourbons and the Willett distilled bourbons is staggering, and I know I’m not the only one who notices. But fanboys gonna fanboy 😬🙄🙄🙄
@d_tao@RetroManNYC Like someone put a pack of Newports out on a loaf of banana bread. @JackDaniels_US Rye is just bad whiskey, and they worked on it for 10 years. 🙄🤮
@MaxKennerly@dandrezner@joerogan used to watch people eat cockroaches as a day job. This is the dumbest timeline. I get being a contrarian, but come on.
