Happy #PoetryMonth2025!
Have you ever heard of a Cinquain poem? I had to look it up the first time I heard about it but I’m glad I did because one of my most famous poems is a Cinquain. What makes my Seeker poem and its accompanying artwork so famous is because it’s gone on an epic adventure. I wrote it in 2021 when @RichardGarriott was going down to the bottom of the Mariana Trench with @VictorVescovo on their Challenger Deep expedition.
The original artwork and poem then went down to the #Titanic with my friends @AstroDocScott and @minwadhwa before finally taking the journey to space with me and my crew on @inspiration4x. So this is one well traveled poem and artwork. I donated the original artwork with the poem handwritten on the back to @StJude where it sold at auction for 100k to help end childhood cancer. It’s a fun example of what I call #AdventureArt and the power of poetry.
Share your own Cinquain below and I might just send you a copy of my new poetry book! 😉
I hope you’ll check out my new book of poetry called #SpacePoet. I appreciate the support and follow along for more fun examples of my art and poetry as I continue to go on adventures and create commemorative poems! 🙏🏽🚀🌎
Changes in attitude, changes in latitude: @Space_Station We rotated 180 degrees and flew backwards for yesterday’s Soyuz docking. This is a bit long but keep watching for the surprise in the middle.

Welcome Home NASA Crew 9!!! ❤️🚀🌎
Congratulations to #NASA and #SpaceX on bringing home Crew 9 with Butch and Suni!! Always great to share my experience as the @inspiration4 mission pilot.
Peggy -- @Axiom_Space or wherever you work/create/lead -- they are lucky to have you. I learned so much from you @NASA and appreciated your leadership of our @NASA_Astronauts office. My favorite slogan from the hallway of Bldg 4S: "Superman wears Peggy Whitson pajamas!"
