@GrimJoker146626@Izbiski_@Templarpilled Yes you can and I just identified the mechanism. You can google "dnd 3.5 character gold progression" if you don't believe me
Yes, peasants would be crippled for sure. Although they wouldn't be using wheelchairs regardless, as that is an anachronistic projection
Cope & nonsense
By "traditional campaign" I simply mean by the book. If you look at the chart for expected character progression, by level 5 or so characters have ~9000gp
Anyone can heal their legs by level 5 if they survive that long. Assuming this is not a special campaign the DM cooked up like Wheelchair World or Crippletown or whatever
@GrimJoker146626@Izbiski_@Templarpilled Idk I always play Barbarians or Fighters. The zestiest I got was Hexblade in 3.5e
But I think it's literally called "Heal"
Regardless, any adventurer can buy a 5th level spell in any moderately sized city for β€ 400gp.
Which is why it makes no sense in a "traditional" campaign
@GrimJoker146626@Izbiski_@Templarpilled There's no difference between "life long" and acute, the spells don't differentiate. You can look it up in any of the Players Handbooks. Admittedly, I haven't read beyond 5e.
It makes sense if you're a peasant or in a low magic campaign.
@shakoistsLog@sailaunderscore Wife and house are not relative measurements, they are objective. The real or perceived qualities thereof may be relative, but not the actual status.
@thsottiaux Sometimes in my exuberance I accidentally close out and lose a long message I was writing. Can you make it so the current message is saved every x seconds?
