Big changes coming to Kaito Connect!

We're going to be bringing a new use case to Yaps, and sKAITO - refreshing away from votes.

Alignment is a huge part of crypto, for users who want to show their interest and loyalty to a project, and for projects who want to be recognizing and rewarding these exact people.

So, to build on this connection, Yaps & staked $KAITO will be becoming signals of alignment.

You'll now be able to assign both of them towards your favourite projects:

- Assigned yaps rewarding you with boosted mindshare accumulation in relation to that specific project's Yapper Leaderboard

- Assigned sKAITO rewarding you with token reward sharing in relation to that specific project in our upcoming capital launchpad, and other use cases (more details to be released)

Kaito Genesis NFTs will add multiplier effects for both boosts.

This gives sKAITO holders an avenue to fee share from both the network more generally and/or from specific projects of their choice.

It also gives the option for projects to better spot their most aligned community members when it comes to rewards - with them able to focus solely on mindshare, or mindshare + alignment rankings.

For Pre-TGE Yapper Leaderboards, the Kaito team will continue working with projects across the space for launches, moving more to how we partner with Post-TGE projects.

Allowing for more flexibility when it comes to project timelines, both for campaigns they want to run for their users, and their TGE.

The remaining projects on the current Yapper Launchpad will be able to launch a Yapper Leaderboard on a date best suited, as part of transition.

We'll update soon on when these changes will go live! In the meantime, we'll pause the current voting system after 16 April.
