A view from the top of the wildlife overcrossing. Lots of snow and to date the pass has received over 90 inches, which we haven't seen since 2017! More is forecasted this wknd. Help us out again by being prepared, following the traction tire requirements and slowing down.
Something about the way this sign on Chinook Pass is working so hard to keep its head above the snow has me rooting so hard for it. You got this, 'lil sign!
@TaikaWaititi What in the hell was this? Fought off the metric system ... forgive me while I roll my eyes. Quit trying to be relevant Fox News and @TuckerCarlson. The U.S. has moved on from your BS.
Here's a full panorama of yesterday's magical sunrise. This is a huge file, and will look really good as a 90" wide metal print if anyone is looking for a statement seattle photo to hang on your wall :)
Another photogenic weather day in #Seattle with those gorgeous #Lenticularclouds over #MountRainier. I love how it caught the sunset lights to create that eerie glow, making it look more and more like a UFO! 😀
Happy #Halloween from Hubble! 💀 These interacting galaxies create a creepy “face” in space.
There’s no sound in space, but this scary sonification of Hubble's image will send shivers down your spine...

@NatureNews I have often thought about this as a researcher in Geothermal Energy and the hundreds of flights I have taken to perform research at a given site. I agree that a lot more work can be done virtually now, but what about the field measurements? How will that work get done?
One Week from Today: ASSEMBLE! Voting is the ENDGAME! (Help me give credit to whoever made this! I got it from a follower who also doesn’t know. Anybody have any idea where this Marvel-ous piece of editing came from?) #VOTE
This year the Post Office offers a stamp commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment! I bought a 100. Will you? Can we start a movement 100 stamps at a time? Let's do this.
