I tested using the Pomodoro method again yesterday.
I set a timer for 25 minutes to plan what I was going to work on then 3 blocks of 25 minutes to do the work.
Here are 2 things that happened in 100 minutes:
- I got more work done
- The work done was higher quality than usual in a shorter amount of time
It’s definitely going back into my routine.
One of the hardest business lessons I’ve had to learn is: you don’t try to get bigger.
Instead, you try and get better.
The better you get, the bigger your customers will demand you become.
Quality creates demand.
Demand creates growth.
Not the other way around.
Deathbed Regret: Not spending enough time with my kids during the “magic years.”
There’s a devastatingly short window of time during which you are your child’s entire world.
After it, they have friends/partners that fill that role.
I refuse to miss those precious years.
I pulled this from a @hubermanlab podcast because it’s important.
The brain seeks balance. Highs n lows really are the tipping of the scales.
