I think this is the only part that you get drastically wrong. Only in the last 100 years did turning an idea into a machine require a factory.

Henry Ford built the car mostly without one. Wright brothers built a plane almost entirely without one. Electricity. Microscopes. Telescopes. Pulleys and gears were all created for hundreds of years without factories.

The power has lived inside government and giant corporations for the last century but it is returning to where innovation originally lived, with the end user and creator.
