If we are going to eliminate entry-level jobs in the next 1-5 years, then how will we produce mid-level or senior talent? Will AI be able to replace mid-level and senior roles as well? (Not possible.)

We are on a half-cooked track 😂 and will realize in the next 5 years what we missed.

AI can autocomplete and remix patterns at scale…
but true originality still needs intent, not just prediction.

Prompts are just instructions, great ones have always been engineering,

No logic/systems thinking? Prompts fail like bad code.

AI doesn't replace engineers but it exposes who really is one.

I agree AI codes fast & often well.

I've used AI-assisted coding for 3yrs w/ almost all major tools. It boosts productivity for exp devs but fails for "vibe coders."

W/ clear direction & planning, AI is powerful. But it struggles w/ vague prompts like: “Build an app better than X.”

This is amazing. Anyone can now describe their idea in simple words and get a working website fast. No coding skills needed. It helps regular people, small business owners, and dreamers build things quickly. The future of making stuff online is here!

In reality, it's great for simple, pretty front pages. For bigger apps, you still need login security, payments, and fixing code issues (AI can make messy parts). It's a super tool for quick tests but not replacing real builders yet.
