Monday is International Women’s Day. Women have had a significant impact in STEM. Women discovered CRISPR, which has revolutionized genetic engineering and medicine. The future will be full of additional breakthroughs by women in STEM. Let’s make sure they all get their chance.
As we hear politicians discuss which one of them should get credit for vaccine development, let’s remember that vaccines are developed by scientists. Politicians may lead the world, but from here on out, it will be scientists who save it.
