I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want. I can never train myself in all the skills I want. And why do I want? I want to live and feel all the shades, tones and variations of mental and physical experience possible in my life.

there is no trouble worth stressing over. everyone gets sick, passes away, faces poverty, has conflicts, and deals with restrictions. do not worry, all of these are simply signs that you are alive.
their hatred isn't born from envy, but from exhaustion. they despise you because every silent, calculated attempt to destroy you has failed. your unbroken mind is a mirror reflecting their impotence. let your survival be their torture. 🖤

every new generation gets sharper. while elders relied on blind devotion and often silence curious kids, children actively ask questions. that’s why it's better to in the company of kids, to learn and embrace modern ideas, rather than cling to outdated mindsets.
after the storm quiets, you won’t recall how you survived it, or be sure it’s gone. but one truth remains: the one who entered it won’t be the one who leaves. you’ll be softer, stronger, remade by what broke you. that’s the storm’s hidden work.
This paragraph by Haruki Murakami hits very hard:
“Once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”
don’t waste your energy defending politicians online for free. they’re not going to fight for you when it matters. protect your peace of mind ... if you’re going to argue, bleed, and stress over it, make sure it’s actually worth the cost.
some people throw stones, call it confetti, then blame you for flinching. they’ll praise your shadow, dim your light, and act shocked when you remember your worth. joke or not, i don’t rent space in my head to tenants who disrespect the landlord.
a short temper is expensive: you trade long-term respect for 5 seconds of release. logic says anger narrows vision; wisdom says silence widens it. bite your tongue now, or spend days explaining why you didn’t.
To those with a short temper
Instead of getting angry about something you don’t agree with
Or an insignificant situation
Take a step back and pay attention to how you want to react VS how you should react
Don’t waste your breath on dumb shit
Nothing humbles you like remembering that time is removing everyone from the board. The people you envy will die. The people you fear will die. The people you perform for will die. You will die too. Once this becomes real, half your anxiety starts looking ridiculous. Mortality is a filter that burns away fake priorities.
