Presidential Plenary Session at #ACG2023- @MRegueiroMD showing results that IBD patients treated with biologics or oral small molecules do not have an increased risk of MACE or VTE events. In fact those on biologics had a lower risk of such events. @MoAlkhayyat @KAlsabb

@DRubenrocast @ChaseTMAnderson Be yourself and use it as an opportunity to interview them, see if it is where you want to train and with the people you would want to train under. If it’s on zoom though I guess that would be tougher to do.
@Surgeon_General Every morning I ask my nursing team what they want to listen to and set the pandora accordingly. Sometimes it’s 1980s, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, or Classic Rock. Music helps us all get through. I’ve had patients describe a better experience as well, because of the tunes
@PDulaiMD Impressive work, congrats to you all. From a clinician and patient perspective it’s great to have real world data. A year seems long to wait for remission but I know it does happen sooner for some. When should we give up on it if not working despite dose escalation?
@predicct A few simple questions - which don’t need to take long
How are you?
How is your sleep?
Your energy?
Your mood?
Tell me a little about your diet?
Anything you are avoiding?
Is there anything you can’t do because of your IBD?
Any issues with intimacy?
