#WorldFishMigrationDay The extent that #salmon are delayed at #BarriersToMigration even with passes can be staggering #Shrewsbury weir on the #Severn we have identified (by distinct features)individual fish from photo evidence. Two of those fish made attempts hourly for 4days.

The river level is now low enough and the blockages under the sluice gates have now been removed. A few more checks to ensure there is no damage to the gates and then re-filling will begin.
