Imagine if India and Pakistan signed a real peace treaty. Trade, tourism, investment, culture and human connections could explode.

The economic upside could be enormous.

WHY WINGNUTS SIMP FOR THE ROMAN EMPIRE

Wingnuts live in a fantasy world where they believe they are the descendants of the Roman Empire and Viking warriors. They are constantly war gaming Roman forces against the rest of the world. In reality, at the height of their powers, the Roman Empire, Ancient India and Ancient China never clashed but instead had a healthy relationship with each other. There was trade, travel, knowledge exchange and inter marriage among them.

Why was this? Because they were all polytheistic empires and co-opted each other's deities, customs and beliefs. For instance, Hindu Gods and Goddesses were worshipped in China. The chief of the Greek Gods, Zeus, was the co-equivalent of the Hindu sky deity Dyaus Pitr.

In fact, the only time Ancient Europe and India clashed was in 326 BCE when Alexander of Macedon invaded India. The result was at worst a tragic defeat of the Greeks and at best a draw. The Greek regents appointed by Alexander were assassinated by the soldiers of Chandragupta Maurya. The Mauryan Empire pushed the Greeks out of India to Bactria - modern Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and northern Afghanistan.

The invasion resulted in several centuries of cultural exchanges between India and Greece, with later Greek rulers like Menander converting to Hinduism or Buddhism. Even before Alexander, Indian soldiers were regular components of armies in Greek city states.

In contrast, when Christianity took over Europe (and later other regions), they destroyed all the beautiful polytheistic religions and erased Greek, Roman, Norse, Saxon and other Gods. The brutal torture of the Saxons, among other tribes, for clinging on to the religion of their forefathers is one of the worst pogroms organised by the Christians. The Notre Dame Cathedral used to be a pagan temple.

Ancient Rome, Ancient India and Ancient China were partners -- not adversaries. This partnership ended with the arrival of Christianity, and later Islam. These two religions severed ancient civilisational links and introduced the concept of otherness - non Christians and non Muslims were godless and therefore enemies.

Wingnuts are brainwashed individuals who have zero understanding of history and have no culture of their own. Simping for Rome and Greece is their way of appropriating these two beautiful civilisations. I invite them to reject the Abrahamic faiths and reconnect with Zeus, Athena and Poseidon.
