@KassyMeisel A common tactic of investment commentator hacks is to mix political rants in with their mkt commentary in their twitter streams. Attention-whoring to capture eyeballs so people don't tune out.
@KassyMeisel He's a virtue-signalling, attention-whoring hack. Loves to attention-whore by bitching about the financial media and twitter haters. Those who can't do, preach.
@GreekFire23@yuriymatso Have you noticed TLT going straight down just lately while bank stocks still can't get off the mat? Mkt sniffing it out now. Take a look at lead-in to Sept 2018 top (driven by very mild QT)--same thing.
@GreekFire23@yuriymatso Are we sure that liquidity/stimulus is going up and not down next few months? Treasury has gargantuan flood of issuance starting in Sept, and Fed is only slated to take down 18% of it. That excess (over QE) issuance flood is the same as massive QT--sucks liquidity out of risk.
@DougKass@realDonaldTrump Most people are sick of these dysfunctional, tribal identity politics obsessions and the associated political opportunism that comes with it. The answer to all of this is to just treat people as individuals and also think of yourself as an individual. Real simple stuff.
@DougKass@realDonaldTrump I don't care about her ancestry, or race, or anyone else's race. But one thing I don't like is she (and much of Dem party) is a race hustler. Get the difference? Race hustling is as despicable as racism. It's pure dishonest political opportunism and it's divisive and corrosive.
@DougKass@realmoney It looks like your gnome got early word of the big news out today. No wonder the betting odds today shifted toward Rice as the favorite. What a shame--I watched him when I was a kid.

@TheStalwart You have to turn on the gas for it to work. Just like you have to plug in a TV to make it work. Any questions? Don't feel bad, I knew you would eventually figure it out given enough time.
@xtrends No hate, love you, man, wrong or right, your posts are intelligent. You might or might not be a little early, but numerous signs indicate we're close to a major top.
@DeepThroatIPO I only visit and go out in the summer which is probably more predictable and as you say, no hypothermia risk if shit really goes bad. But maybe one day, Gordon Lightfoot will sing "the mariners all say he'd have made Presque Isle Bay, if he'd put 15 more miles behind him."
@DeepThroatIPO Someone on the https://t.co/M9lOJn4QUY fishing reports last week went out to 115 ft of water near the NY/PA/Canadian triangle and caught two lake trout each over 20 pounds. Posted a picture of one. Gigantic. I prefer to catch 'em in NH where I can eat 'em though. Lake trout rock.
@DeepThroatIPO Yeah, I've done it for yrs--never even close to being in trouble. 5-fters, boat had no trouble, was my stomach that was problem. Between high freeboard & bilge pumps, would take a lot to sink (plus sub-20 footers have positive buoyancy). Not testing in tomorrow's 10-fters though!
@DeepThroatIPO I have a 36v GPS Terrova elec motor on the front w/ 400 pounds of Lifeline AGM batteries in ski locker--can troll all day (quietly) on batteries or sit in a pedestal chair up-front with the drive up and fish bass boat-style in lagoons (13 inches of water). It's an unusual set-up!
@DeepThroatIPO I live in NH. When I launch in Connecticut River, one guy asked "do you have any problems running a big boat like that in the river? Ever hit bottom?" Big enough for 5ft waves on Lake Erie though--never felt unsafe. Mine's modified w/ elec downriggers, etc

@DeepThroatIPO I was out in five-footers on Tuesday. Tried to tough out the seasickness and caught one steelhead and three walleye in three hours but then ended up on my knees in the back corner puking my guts out several times. Then back to PI thru 5-ft waves, water surging over windshield.
@HayekAndKeynes@kevinmuir@CNBC The sense of entitlement is greater and more widespread in the US because history of greater gov't safety net, higher living standards more generally, etc. Also cultural differences--culture of victimhood, etc. more prevalent in US.
