An informative training session on "𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐬 & 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧” was organised at OFIL, Dehradun by India Optel Limited in coordination with the 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 (𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥), 𝐃𝐞𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐧.
The session provided valuable insights on New Labour Codes, statutory compliance and employer responsibilities under the new labour codes. The programme was especially beneficial for IOL as Principal Employer in contractual engagements, strengthening awareness towards transparent, compliant and efficient workforce management practices.
Officials from IOL units participated enthusiastically, while participants from OFCd Chandigarh joined through virtual mode.

आयुध निर्माणी ,चंडीगढ़ के आयुध क्लब में दिनांक 15.04.2026 को ऑप्टिल महिला कल्याण समिति द्वारा नि:शुल्क स्वास्थ्य कैंप अमृत कैंसर फाउंडेशन एवं तेरा ही तेरा मिशन हॉस्पिटल के सहयोग से आयोजित किया गया।

मुख्य महाप्रबंधक के संरक्षण एवं कल्याण समिति की अध्यक्षा के नेतृत्व एवं मार्गदर्शन से मैमोग्राफी , नेत्र जांच एवं बोन डेंसिटी टेस्ट करवाए गए । इस कैंप में आयुध निर्माणी स्टेट के लगभग 200 अधिकारियों/ कर्मचारियों विशेष रूप से महिलाओं ने जांच करवा के कैंप को सफल बनाया।

बाल काव्य सम्मेलन’ का आयोजन दिनांक 13 जनवरी 2026 को आयुध क्लब में किया गया। इस काव्य सम्मेलन में निर्माणी अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों के बच्चों ने संस्कृति, पर्यावरण, देशभक्ति एवं हास्यपद विषयों पर कविताएँ सुनाकर सभी श्रोताओं का मन मोह लिया।

The 3rd India–Kenya Defence Exhibition & Seminar was held on 19 Jan 2026, underscoring the growing depth of India–Kenya defence cooperation. Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary (Defence Production) led the #MoD, Govt. Of India delegation and delivered a Special Address highlighting the capabilities of Indian defence industries and urged Kenya Defence Force to explore opportunities with companies in Indian defence industry ecosystem. 21 Indian defence companies showcased their capabilities and specialised #defenceproduct profile.

🔹Hon'ble Ms Soipan Tuya, Cabinet Secretary Defence (Minister), Govt. Of Kenya graced the event as Chief Guest and delivered the Keynote Address highlighting foundation laid by previous two such events in Nov 22 and Jan 24. She acknowledged the diverse Indian defence companies present in the event and emphasised on co-development and system integration.

Strengthening India’s #MakeInIndia defence manufacturing 🇮🇳

India Optel Limited (#IOL), a Mini Navratna Defence PSU, has signed a collaboration agreement with #Safran Electronics & Defense for Transfer of Production (#ToP) of two high-precision, combat-proven systems, enabling their manufacturing in India.

Agreement signed by CMD, IOL Shri Tushar Tripathi and Head of the Defence Global Business Unit for Safran Electronics & Defense Mr Alexandre Ziegler in the presence of Secretary (Defence Production) Shri Sanjeev Kumar in New Delhi.

The collaboration covers:

🔹 SIGMA 30N Digital Ring Laser Gyro Inertial Navigation System, used in artillery guns, air defence systems, missiles and radars.
🔹 CM3-MR Direct Firing Sight, designed for artillery guns and anti-drone systems.
🔹 IOL to undertake manufacturing, final assembly, testing, quality control and full life-cycle support in India.

Building on the MoU signed in January 2024, the partnership strengthens India’s defence manufacturing ecosystem and supports the operational requirements of the Indian Army.
