Lets put rhetoric aside, the #AfricanYouth becomes a demographic burden if they are not given access to investment&access to opportunities! The dividend part wont fall from the sky just because our median age is 18! Intentional investments are needed.

The continent is lagging behind on entrepreneurship due to resources deficit. More and more startups are moving abroad because of a lack of resources. We must remember that entrepreneurs want to make money at the end of the day - Tolamo from @GEN22OnSloane
If an entrepreneur from a township has an idea, they should be able to approach funding institutions and get the training/extra hand of knowledge. We must stay away from knowledge elitism at all times - @OnlyNomso#AfricaYouth

Our economy on the continent is becoming more and more digitised. Various sectors are moving toward tech inclusion in their businesses. Coupled with knowledge and skills transfer, this creates an enabling environment for young people/SMMEs to grow - Tolamo

Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt and SA ar the big four in terms of tech investment destinations. FinTech has also raised its hand. According to @WorldBank the rise in fintech is because of the unbanked - Tolamo.
