Ange told the players that they would be remembered as Tottenham heroes with their photos on the club walls for ever if they could win the club a major European trophy. So the club then sack Ange, sell Brennan and even worse take his photo of the wall. This told the players that the hierarchy cared stuff all about what they had achieved. And people are now surprised that the players response to Frank and the hierarchy has been stuff you.

@_TottenhamTalk_ It’s not surprising that Frank is losing the dressing room. When Tottenham played a bad game, Ange blamed himself and protected the players . Now we have Frank blaming the players and protecting himself. This is going to end badly .

What upsets me most, is that we had a plan .the kids were meant to be stars, Mikey Moore, Luka Vukosevic are elsewhere. Bergvall, Sarr and Gray are bit players. Why because Frank is more focused on securing his job via mid table positioning than going for it. This shouldn't be spurs.

Ange and Frank are both / were at the wrong clubs. Ange with his attacking style should be at a team built for attacking, drum roll, Tottenham, and Frank with his tactical park the bus style should be at a team built for defence, Nottingham. It's really not that hard. That clown levy has ruined two clubs and two managers.

@simonyemane We will never spend the money of the big four. That is why in the last 2 years we were building a team of kids who were going to be stars. So now with our mini spendathon, the kids won't get game time and will stagnate. So much for a 5 year plan.

Look it's pretty simply. Levy is a tightwad and won't pay the wages that other clubs pay. So in deal we try for we are at risk of being gazumped. You know this, I know this even Levy knows this (you would hope). It means that in our dealing we have to be quiet and quick in other words the opposite of what we were with Eze

And Even worse we now have a tactician coach, which broadly translates as anything but a high line. thereby weakening our two CB's key assets. MDW 's one wood is his speed. This won't be of much use to him or us when we are camped on the 18-yard line. And Romero, his 30-meter forward pass splitting lines is brilliant. Again, great from the halfway line, but not so much from the 18-yard line.

Alasdair, there is nothing baffling about it. Levy is a tight wad pure and simple.
As for Frank, he spent the back end of last season angling for the job, so the shit show he has inherited is his own fault.
What is truly depressing is that we had a plan; get in great young kids and build them up, and now we have a coach who seemingly doesn't rate them.

There is a major problem (as I see it) with Frank's tactical approach; broadly speaking anything but a high line. MDW's prime ability is his speed. This won't be of much use to him or us if he spends his time on the 18 yard line. Romero's killer attribute is the line splitting 30 metre forward pass. Again, brilliant from the half way line but not so much from the 18 yard line.

@JeanxTHFC I wouldn't feel sorry at all for Frank. He spent the last part of the previous season promoting himself for the job. Maybe the stability and seeming overachieving at Brentford was not due to him and his tactics but rather a reflection of the club and it's management.
