@ArtemisConsort We all want to believe we’d rejoice in a perfect world and just happily explore and create things.
But honestly I don’t think it’s true.
Without the struggle and pressure most of us would probably just coast and do nothing special.
I’m only basing this on history.
Most people do feel romantic love. It is the normal. For thousands of years humans have fallen in love, written about it and built families because of it.
Some people really don’t feel the need for romantic love but they are the smaller group and not the majority.
Old writings, poems and literature prove this.

Some cultures built airplanes and smartphones. Others still practice female genital mutilation, honor killings and stone people for blasphemy. This alone settles it.
