I've spent the last 72 hours building something with @kirodotdev that fundamentally changed how I think about developer velocity. Not hyperbole. Not marketing. Just pure, measurable acceleration. And I need to explain why this matters for the 10M+ vibe coders @awscloud hasn't captured yet.

Two years ago, I shipped an AI-powered product that went viral in 12 hours. National news coverage. Thousands of orders. Solo. No team. Just an idea, code, and raw execution speed.

That project taught me something brutal: the no-code/low-code wave isn't about people who can't code. It's about people who refuse to waste time configuring things that should be invisible.

That's a $40B+ market AWS is leaving on the table!

Enter @kirodotdev. I've used every agentic IDE out there. Kiro is fundamentally different. It's not a web app pretending to be an IDE.

I'am building an AWS‑native agentic product with @kirodotdev this week; going public Wednesday. For vibe coders, here’s the minimum security checklist Kiro helps lock in fast—ship fast, stay safe.

- Secrets: never commit .env; use AWS Secrets Manager or SSM Parameter Store; rotate every 90 days; prefer short‑lived creds.​

- Auth: enable MFA, 15–30 min session TTL, breached‑password checks, secure reset flows.​

- Database: parameterized queries only, encrypt PII at rest, automated backups with point‑in‑time recovery.​

- Network: private VPC by default, no public DB endpoint, least‑privilege security groups.​

- API: rate limits (e.g., 100 req/15m per IP; stricter on auth), verified JWTs, replay protection.​

- Headers: CSP + HSTS + X‑Frame‑Options via Helmet; block third‑party injections and data leaks.​

- Payments: use Stripe Elements, never store card data, verify webhook signatures server‑side.​

- Build: JS obfuscation, minification, source maps off in prod, string encryption and debug protection.​

- Observability: audit logs for auth and schema changes, alerts on anomalies, 90‑day retention.​

Why Kiro: spec‑driven agentic development removes yak‑shaving; Bedrock‑powered workflows translate intent to secure infra; AWS foundations do the heavy lifting so creators can create.​

Matt Garman talks about AWS enabling builders of all skill levels. Swami Sivasubramanian's keynote at re:Invent (which I'll be attending, as always) will likely focus on AI-native workflows. Kiro is the bridge between those visions and the 10M developers AWS hasn't onboarded yet.
