PLU has officially announced that Hon. Jacob Oboth will be the next Speaker of Parliament. Last night, a meeting was held at State House to decide who should become the next Speaker of Parliament. Anita Among could become one of the shortest-serving Speakers since the adoption of the multiparty dispensation.
Although there are other NRM structures mandated to make the final decision, critics say that PLU may have already read the same letter inside the envelope and, of course, Mzee is always the final person to approve or disapprove.
Note: If Among decides to contest as an independent, as former Speaker Rebecca Kadaga did, she might be arrested
@UPHTU_Uganda@KagutaMuseveni@JanetMuseveni@Educ_SportsUg@mopsuganda@mofpedU The spiced tea in state House didn't leave u the same. From enhancement to discussing food, accommodation and tax waiver. You are not different from UNATU. You have betrayed your people. It's now the learners to suffer. Government should watch the space.
@MwesigyeFranks@PoliceUg We can only discuss health matters with you the day u or your closest relatives will start getting medication from government health facilities for now keep shut.
@HuduHussein@GovUganda@NRMOnline@NUP_Ug@HEBobiwine Don't bring a lot of contextual interpretation here. Leave us to understand it literally as is. One day u will call that snake ur calling a rope will bite you.
