House prosecutor Chel Diokno defends retired Sandiganbayan presiding justice Amparo Cabotaje-Tang as a witness after Senator Imee Marcos and the defense objected to her presentation.

Diokno asserted that Cabotaje-Tang will provide context for the court and the public on the issue of the alleged unexplained wealth of Vice President Sara Duterte and her husband, Atty. Mans Carpio. The prosecutor further said that her testimony will be helpful in understanding the testimony of the next witnesses.

"'Yun pong mga nanunuod na mga kababayan natin ay hindi lang po sila spectator. Sila ay nanunuod dahil 'yung pera pong nanggagaling sa kanilang buwis... ay 'yun po ang involved dito sa issue of unexplained wealth," he told the court.

"Real transparency, Your Honor, is just not about livestreaming this trial. Real transparency means that people can understand what is happening," he added.

🚨 Walang maitatayong bagong bus stops
🚨 Walang budget para sa maintenance at support personnel

Hindi luho ang public transportation na dapat tinatapyasan. Deserve ng bawat komyuter na bigyang-priyoridad ng gobyerno ang mga ganitong serbisyo.
