American actress Jenifer Lewis has slammed celebrities for staying silent on the ongoing humanitarian crises and genoc*des in the Congo, Sudan and G*za.

Speaking on the Outlaws podcast, Lewis used her platform to remind public figures that they have a responsibility to show solidarity with those suffering from injustices across the world and in the US.

Her message was clear: "You stand for something. You do something,” because she says, “We owe.”

U.S. Defies Kenyan Court Over Ebola Quarantine

Despite a court order stopping the construction of a US government Ebola Virus Disease quarantine centre at a US airbase in Kenya, the facility has been built anyway and several American citizens who were recently in the DRC are currently undergoing quarantine in the illegal facility.

The Kenyan court gave an order expressly forbidding a foreign government from exposing nearly 60 million Kenyans to a deadly foreign virus, and the foreign government simply ignored the court order and went ahead to do exactly that with no pushback whatsoever from William Ruto's administration.

When international alliances override local judicial orders and public opposition, we must ask: who are our leaders really serving? True sovereignty is only meaningful when a government is confident enough to say "no" to protect its people.

David Hundeyin: Global Powers Did Not Become Wealthy Through "Democracy"

Are intellectual dishonesty and ideological duplicity the only things that Africa should expect from any Western incursions into its information spaces?

Speaking during a public panel session on News Central Television on Thursday 23 July, 2026, Nigerian investigative journalist and founder of The Spearhead, David Hundeyin made the point that not only do western powers fund the intellectual misdirection of Africa's "educated" classes via their funded civil society extensions, but they also do not even acknowledge that the source of their modern wealth - colonialism and neocolonialism - had nothing to do with internal "democracy", and everything to do with the extractive dictatorship they have imposed across Africa and the Global South.

They will fund "democracy promotion" NGOs in your capital while supporting the coup that removes your elected government when it nationalizes its own oil.

They will express outrage at your election irregularities while their own electoral system contains mechanisms like gerrymandering, voter suppression, and an Electoral College where losing the popular vote can still win you the presidency, all of which would be condemned as anti-democratic in any country they were monitoring.

They will lecture you about the rule of law while refusing the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court, the International Court of Justice, and any other body with the theoretical power to hold them accountable.

The "rules-based international order."

They write the rules.

They enforce the rules.

They are exempt from the rules.

And they would like you to know that this arrangement is the foundation of global stability, and that any country that questions it is a threat to peace.

British Military Training In Kenya Cancelled Amid Growing Public Anger

The Kenyan government has withheld licenses from the British Army Training Unit in Kenya (BATUK) for its 2026 training program in Kenya, amid public backlash.

This backlash is itself the consequence of increasing awareness, among Kenyans, Africans and the wider international community, about the true role of the British Army in the lives of ordinary Kenyans.

A role which has left a trail of misery and death in its wake.
