@Squeeze1i now add the weight of the ugliest stigma, where through each layer of that social crucible you're forced to have your nose rubbed in several layers of shit, that doesn't represent who you are, over and over, ad nauseam, until your own body starts breaking down
@yacineMTB I think that a human despite how tistic the typing should be distinguishable from a bot; but a platform that wants to pretend to classify you as a bot, knowing full well that you're not... That's a different kind of problem.
@IterIntellectus Not really; you can't just PED your way into something that requires years of technique. Swimming is a sport you can't just brute force speed in weeks. A lot of people understand this, but most people don't and takeaway the completely wrong thing based on a setup of bad faith.
@socoloffalex Do you think it's possible that they actively sabotage competitors in startup niches they plan to dominate, and that they front run industries so that new incumbents can't be born?
@anishmoonka framing it as only ego dressed up as kindness... I generally speak up when I think someone is doing something harmful to themselves or others. Plenty of times I see people do stupid stuff and keep it to myself. but sure, frame it as just a power trip, everything's pathologized
@Crypto_Mags@SnorkelHotTubs@SpaceDenver Yay another frictional conversation starter... tried to be nice by pointing out to the guy in the sauna with a plastic water bottle that it's probably not a good habit... nvm
@choi_sun_k@punkassafrass@joshwhiton Saying no side effects is dangerous because from what I'm reading there's potential for harm to the liver even at relatively modest doses
