Business had double whammy increase in costs in April, minimum wage +6.7% and employers NI +£1000 p/person on a full time job. Cannot absorb that so filters through to the cost customers pay

Result - slow economy and increased inflation. No surprise.

Worst airline ever to fly with - take a bow @flybe from B’ham. Treat customers like cattle, change seats without telling you and insist customers force their roller bags into a metal container, scratching and damaging their bags. If at all possible I would avoid. 👎

Great first day - Iron Mike memorial near Sainte-Mère-Eglise before visiting the D-Day beaches of Utah and Omagh, the hugely moving but impressive US Military Cemetary at Colleville-sur-Mer and finally ending in Bayeux for a well earned rest.

Train travel in the UK today - crowded trains and nobody checking tickets. Have an argument with someone in your seat or stand. Poor beyond belief @CrossCountryUK and others.

Appalling service @CrossCountryUK from B’ham International to Manchester - nobody checking tickets and first class full with no seats despite reservation. On top of train being 25 minutes late. Shockingly bad - never again. Where’s the Train Manager checking tickets??????
