@eniolaaa017@LegendaryJoe You're the silly one here. Never despise the days of humble beginning. There are some that cant even afford to sell the akara or whatever, if the first lady offers that opportunity and they can scale up, they can produce graduates too and the rest will be history.
And yes, she's an educated civil servant at that. And as an engineering undergraduate those years, once I come back from school, I get down to the grinding machine and start operating elubọ grinder with body full with elubo dust. Thank God 4 those days.
@LegendaryJoe I'm a livin testimony of such. My mum sold evrytin sellable. 4rm Moinmoin 2 akara 2 egbo 2 elubo 2 ẹja gbigbẹ. On dat money I schooled abroad, live abroad and work as a professional too. The day she came 2 Canada 4 visit, I took her 4 a Buffet and said here u are, Iya elelubọ.
We drained our reserves from $62bn to $28bn to satisfy your fx needs.
GEJ can be compared to a father of 20 children who stumbled on 100 bags of rice, and decided to throw parties every day without replenishing the rice barn. Of course, the children will be happy until the family is left with 2 cups of rice.
All the FX you spent in the UK on your cards came as a result of pegging the Naira and draining the FX reserves. The Central Bank had to constantly sell its own foreign currency to artificially maintain the exchange rate.
The decision to also keep the peg by PMB, led to further depletion of our reserves and a backlog of $7bn. When you shop or use your card abroad, VISA or MasterCard pay the $$ on your behalf and later demand the FX from your local bank.
Back to rice, If you eat rice in London, VISA or Mastercard gives you 2 plates but sends their representatives in Nigeria which is your bank to collect the 2 plates from your family barn. For as long as you have 100 bags of rice, you have no worries. When you are left with 2 cups, the representative will no longer guarantee your 2 plates of rice in London.
PBAT came in and unpegged the Naira, allowing it to find its true value. Cleared our fx backlog and rebuilt the fx reserve to the highest in 17 years.
@adesolaadetoye Isn't the reason obvious? A lot of immigrants would travel to the US to give support to their teams na and prolly meet fellow country men traveling down for the same reason
@Islamolowo1 Are people this dumb naturally or its just hatred? You asked a question, they give you answer with proofs and you're still shifting goal post and struggling to find a way to discredit the proofs. Even a dumbness still get levels ooo

Now the real task: Turn this surge into a permanent transformation. Sustain the fire. Keep pushing. Make it irreversible.
The public is watching and supporting. Let’s keep this momentum going strong! 💪

Abeg which church does Agulu lying fraud worship? 👀
The irony is that the question this lady asked has already been answered in practice by President Tinubu.
One of the biggest complaints from businesses for years was the confusion created by multiple taxes and overlapping tax authorities. The Tax Reform Bill signed into law in 2025 moved to harmonise the system, simplify compliance, and reduce the burden on taxpayers. That was the solution.
Princeton University’s Innovations for Successful Societies (ISS) program used to track and curate transformational leadership at the subnational level in Nigeria.
4 Nigerian transformative leaders were featured. Bola Tinubu, Donald Duke, Babatunde Fashola and Ahmed Makarfi.
Donald Duke was far ahead of his time. He saw Tinapa, Obudu ranch, clean and green Calabar, and civil service reforms.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu saw the Free trade zone, Eko Atlantic, Tax and institutional reforms, Judicial reforms, civil service digitization.
Obi had nothing in his mind apart from saving money in his bank, and investing state funds in a family beer business. Nothing transformative up till this day can be linked to him.
BAD DAY IN THE DEN OF THE WICKED
2 Bandits deservingly met their end today at the hands of our brave security force.
What we know:
□ Armed bandits invaded Paze community in Byazhin ward, Bwari Area Council. They abducted five residents (including a pastor) and shot a local vigilante named Shuaibu Yerima.
□ The security operation (Tuesday night, ~9:00 p.m.): Led by FCT Police Commissioner CP Ahmed Mohammed Sanusi, it involved the Anti-Kidnapping Unit, Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT), Kubwa Area Command, local hunters, and vigilante groups. The operation targeted Paze and Byazhin communities.
● OUTCOME
□ All five abducted victims were rescued and taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
□ Two bandits were killed in a crossfire exchange.
□ Two suspects were arrested: Icheh Mohammadu and Abubakar Usman.
Two AK-47 rifles with magazines were recovered.
□ Other gang members fled into nearby hills.
True patriotism is not just loving your country; it is standing firmly behind those who bleed to keep it safe.
We, patriotic and responsible citizens of this great republic, rise - as we always do - to acknowledge and applaud the valiant efforts of our security forces. Their courage is not celebrated enough. Their sacrifice is not rewarded enough.
Not every night ends in mourning. Some nights, the dawn comes armed. Let the wicked take note: Nigeria will not be swallowed.
Good Evening Severally.
@FabrizioMou Not just the team but the mentality too. He had to deal with the inferior mentality that looses round of 16 games to Lyon and gets dominated by Barca...
