Claude Code 4.7 is insane.
i know literally NOTHING about coding. ZERO. and i just built 3 fully functioning web apps in 30 minutes.

check it out.
Crazy that 40 years ago I was running a BBS out of my bedroom using a 1200baud modem and when Wargames came out the voice box was mind blowing so I had to make one for my Apple //e and it worked! Now we have super computers in our pockets and cars that drive themselves while we have conversations with the car!
It feels ironic that stacking mac studios is the cheapest way to run frontier AI today.
But it actually makes sense. Nothing else beats the memory unit economics of Apple Silicon.
Memory and memory bandwidth (not FLOPS) is what matters for local inference. Everything runs at batch_size=1. @karpathy talked about this at his AI SUS keynote: personal computing v2 is coming.
Just look at the numbers:
M3 Ultra: $18/GB, $6.70/GB/s
DGX Spark: $36/GB, $17/GB/s
B200 (DGX): $360/GB, $8/GB/s
Memory for B200 is 20x more expensive. Memory bandwidth for DGX Spark is 2.5x more expensive.
If DeepSeek V4 is >1T parameters (as it’s rumoured to be), by far the cheapest way to run it will be Apple Silicon.
M5 Ultra will likely push this further.
NVIDIA has completely missed this segment of the market.
@morganlinton@perplexity_ai Amazing right? I built something very similar a month ago with Claud. Been wondering how long it will be before someone (you) posted something like this lol. Crazy cool right!? Congrats!
Yup, the things I have been able to do with @claudeai is unbelievable. The $200 per month subscription is so easy to justify. OpenAI feels like a toy to me now.
They call it getting “Claude-pilled.”
It’s the moment software engineers, executives and investors turn their work over to Anthropic’s Claude AI—and then witness a thinking machine of shocking capability, even in an age awash in powerful AI tools. https://t.co/sm2yyLTsev
❄️ This MRI Can Destroy Cancer Without a Single Cut ❄️
In Sydney, doctors are using one of the most advanced cancer treatments on Earth — MRI-guided cryoablation.
Here’s how it works: a tiny probe is guided directly into the tumour using real-time MRI imaging, and the tumour is frozen solid from the inside out. No large cuts. No stitches. No long hospital stays. Patients walk in, watch the procedure under MRI, and walk out the same day — pain-free and scar-free.
This treatment is so precise, it destroys only the tumour while leaving surrounding healthy tissue unharmed. For people too weak for surgery, too old for long recoveries, or with tumours in risky spots, this is a second chance at life.
Fun Fact: The probe can freeze tissue to –40°C or colder, causing cancer cells to burst while leaving everything else intact.
Some breakthroughs don’t need bigger surgeries — they just need smarter, cooler technology.

Ahead of Veterans Day, I was honored to welcome a flight of veterans and their families as they arrived in DC.
To all those who bravely served our country, thank you to you and your family for your extraordinary service. The sacrifices that all of you have made to protect our country will be honored, today and every day.
You guys, my mind is blown! @elonmusk, you have given me and many other disabled families a life changing technology. Testing #FSD brought me to happy tears tonight. I can drive my daughter around without anxiety and I am not limited to the sun setting or only driving small areas by my house. I am in awe. This is the future. This is good. Thank you.
