Okay, so the first draft of the short story I'm writing for a contest is finally complete. Now I need to decide on a 1st or 3rd person point of view (!), and to trim 2,199 words out of a 9,699-word story (that's a 23% reduction). Wish me luck, I'm going to need it! #amwriting
Happy #ThanksgivingDay 2018! Making a list of things we're thankful for wards off seasonal depression and helps focus on what went well rather than the problems to solve. https://t.co/x3zXchZMrg
Have you ever talked to an artist who seemed so passionate you couldn't help feeling they had better chances than you of "making it"?
Here are some thoughts on passion and the #writerslife#amwriting#personaldevelopment https://t.co/rLIliqvyPI
@spottedgeckgo Well, tiny is tiny; it doesn't have to be on a trailer and it doesn't have to be rectangular—as long as it's relatively low cost and energy efficient, it does the job. If it was me, I'd probably go for a "witch hut" kind of tiny house, hehe.
How's it going this morning, lovely people of the #5amwritersclub? Insomnia persists; I've been awake since 2 am, writing since 4:30... Oh well. This too shall pass. Plus I've fixed a scene, so it's a win?
@masonnite009 I'm not planning an anthology at the moment; I'm focusing on my novel and my blog. Short stories are fun to write (and read), but at the end of the day, I still prefer novels or even series... Maybe later. 🙂
