On 15-17 April, we concluded the national workshop on SALW control, together withthe Govt of #PNG @UNinPNG and @eu_eeas. Under the #SALIENT initiative, experts from @MAGsaveslives and @Centre_AVR led exercises to develop recommendations for a PNG national action plan on #SALW.

Tackling illicit #SALW is one of the most critical tools to torrefy #CRSV.

I urge the women & peace & security experts to engage & collaborate closely in the Review Conference in June to advance gender-responsive arms control.
