@andreilunev@andreilunev Hey Andrei! π I sent you a quick question here via DM about your consulting calls. Would appreciate it if you could take a look.
@antonioventre_@antonioventre_
Antonio, did you test the $20, $23, and $25 bid caps simultaneously in the same campaign, or separately? And how many days did you test each bid cap in total to reach these conclusions?
@andreilunev Hey Andrei, amazing scale!π₯ I have a couple of questions.
Once you found the winning creative and angle, the account was still only spending around ~$50/day. Were you running an inflated campaign budget with a relatively low Campaign Spending Limit, and then gradually increasing the Campaign Spending Limit as the winner proved itself? Or was the spending limit already high from day one, and Meta simply unlocked more spend on its own? I'm trying to understand what actually drove the jump to ~$3,000/day in just 10 days.
Also, regarding your latest 1 ad per ad set setup: do you use that structure for creative testing as well, or only for scaling? And when you're testing, do you group similar angles together, or is each ad set a completely different angle?
@MaxHirsch13 Does deleting negative comments on Meta ads (instead of just hiding them) hurt the adβs performance from Facebookβs side?
Like does it affect ranking or engagement signals at all?
@IstvanicMarin@IstvanicMarin Quick question: with your inflated budget + cost cap setup, did you also use a Campaign Spending Limit, or did you leave it fully open? Cost caps don't always protect against short-term overspend, so I'm curious.
@EcomRedneck Really interesting post. Before simplifying everything, have you tried moving your ABO winners into their own ad set inside the scaling CBO with a slightly higher cost cap to help them get initial spend? I think that could help them gain momentum before competing with the established winners.
Also curious about your ~$5k/day inflated budget. Did you use a campaign spending limit or leave it completely open? Weren't you worried Meta could occasionally overspend since cost caps average out over the attribution window? I've been using ad set max spend limits, but I'm thinking about removing them and giving the inflated budget more freedom.
One more question β I noticed your catalog campaign in the screenshot was performing really well. Was that also running on cost caps? Was it just a broad catalog campaign or mainly retargeting? And did you leave that one open too, or use any spend limits?
