@bneiluj It's not catching. On smaller boulders you can redirect a fall onto the crashpads. Here it's a combination of habit when spotting and signalling to the other people you're actively spotting. Also when your arms are actively engaged reaction time is quicker to pull a mat back aswell
Ross was just granted a FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL PARDON by @realDonaldTrump. Words cannot express how grateful we are.
President Trump is a man of his word and he just saved Ross's life. ROSS IS A FREE MAN!!!!!
It's not that the blatant political money grabbing/grifting didn't happen all the time before. It's now just also happening on a public blockchain for everyone to see.
Legacy media made these exact same arguments couple of years ago about UGC. The only counter arguments I hear about desci all boil down to coping about a loss off zero sum academic status games. https://t.co/fLN8WeKvqh
We will see many more similar academics takes on DeSci in near future
Completely missing the point
Which is not to extend academic research, but to complement it with citizen science and get people excited to fund and participate in it, help collect data and make capital formation around it much easier
With that it obviously means quality of writing goes down (LLMs fix this anyway), as not many of these people are professional academics and thats the point
It won't be perfect, but your academic research with meticulous technical writing isn't perfect either, otherwise why tf I am finding better treatment for my chronic issues myself with bunch of biohackers than with academically educated doctors I paid a lot of money for nothing
Even if we get 99% of dead ends and 1% breakthroughs, its still worth it
If you ever red the devil takes the hindmost.
(Tx @DegenSpartan) This regulatory approval phase is a recurring milestone and should provide a nice confirmation of the scope and the parties that will be involved in this run...
So far it had been extremely hard for AI companies to make a profit.En contraire, they are mostly racking up debt. Seems obvious with @truth_terminal (or his handler)becoming a decamillionaire overnight lots of heads are turning and crypto x ai will look like Valhalla for AI eco
@banteg What about something like an ai agent that does a quick translation/summary/safety check of what’s happening before we confirm? No shill but something like @AIWayfinder comes to mind. @templecrash
Even if the project and tokenomics suck and can be ridiculed, defi is going through a "first follower" moment for a new demographic

A common comparison for Ethereum is that of a tech stock
If that is the case then the best proxy would be Intel. At one time, one of the hottest things in the world with unbounded growth expectations
A few bubbles later in its lifetime, but generally the first big one was the peak as it becomes more apparent that growth is bounded, innovation slowing, and competitors are taking market share. This results in lower projected growth affecting the multiples that investors are willing to pay
Tell me how you pitch 200x PS, negative revenue growth and negative profitability to investors at a $420B price. Crypto retards will buy into this but its a pipe dream to believe that tradfi will buy into it in size given current fundamentals

The telltale to know we haven't reached the end state is dao's lawyering up. The future of financial repression will naturally push the ecosystem in that direction as profit maxxing and regulatory antifragility will become on the same side of the coin.
a little more and the incentive will be there for some smart devs with og crypto ethos to iterate on the primitives we built with defi and dao's to find a way to raise from natives again. Then the regulation-> wild west-> regulation cycle will start anew. https://t.co/33uSYTMWxh
The market really needs back icos for all their warts it democratized the process I have no beef with people trading meme coins but if there were a way to channel the speculative fervor to at least try and hit something with a plan beyond “financial nihilism” it would be good
"The most successful etf in the history of etf's!"
Look at that smile and think of his influence.
Study revolving doors.
Last year the deal to land a cushy job, probably was to block them. This year it's to approve them...
