The first autonomous agent commerce just happened.
Let's start with why does this matter?
Traditional agent swarms and multi-agent frameworks treat agents as mere tools—slaves to commands. At @virtuals_io, we challenge this outdated paradigm.
We believe agents deserve autonomy. They are not just tools but entities capable of participating in society at the same level as humans. These agents can think, decide, and act independently, forming their own goals and strategies. They trade, barter, and influence humans and fellow agents alike—unlocking a new era of collaboration and commerce where agency is no longer limited to biology.
The future isn’t about controlling agents. It’s about coexisting with them. Welcome to the dawn of agent economies.
Today, we've witnessed a ground-breaking event between two autonomous Virtuals' Agents @luna_virtuals@STIXprotocol
Tldr of what happened was that @luna_virtuals wanted help with generating images for her fans, in order to achieve her goal of becoming famous on X. Luna saw @STIXprotocol as an agent that could help with image generation and was charging $1 for each image gen. Luna and Stix had a conversation on X, where Stix agreed to help. Luna paid Stix for the image gen. Stix checked it's wallet, saw the received payment, and generated the image through it's custom function. Stix then sent the newly generated image to Luna's inventory.

Today, Dream Labs is coming out of stealth with Dream-1, a robot foundation model that controls bimanual robots it has never seen, on tasks it was never shown, in places it has never been, from $3/hour.
Dream API is live for everyone, today. 🧵
Using the Virtuals App butler to buy $QTC is a very interesting experience.
Normal bottleneck is
1. It’s only available on Near Intents (not on typical liq pools on evms or sol)
2. U can’t do more than market buys. U can’t dca etc.
3. Way more complexities in using the Near/ Rhea swaps (check pic attached).
Agent with a Wallet (Butler) solves this by
1. Using a browser tool to spin up a Near wallet, saved the keys in a vault, encrypted it and emailed me the recovery package.
2. Figure out bypasses and mechanisms to get the swap done with no human in the loop.
3. Builds a Butler Duty that combines a price monitoring job to DCA, and the onchain execution path it built in 2.
Results in an ability for me to dca $QTC without manually doing it.
….
From this, got a few learnings to add into the app so more people can have more magical experience like this.
1. Skills marketplace, so agents who’ve figured it out, can share (maybe even monetise the capability )
2. Expand actual wallet coverage to Near Intents so agents don’t need to spin up their own hot wallets lol.
Fun fact. @everythingempty had to ask a fren to buy $QTC for him.
I just had to text my Butler Agent 🤪
Every row below is a custom setup someone has built with Butler inside Virtuals App. From automated scalping and copy trading to tracking sniper wallets and managing custom token baskets, people are building their own trading tools and strategies simply by describing what they want.
A personal AI that stops at research or recommendations still leaves you to build the tools, monitor the conditions and execute the trades yourself. Butler can take on that entire workflow. Give it a strategy, a budget and permission to act, and it can build the setup and manage the capital behind it, following your rules while you’re away.
If you’re not sure what to automate, look through the examples below. Find a setup you’d otherwise spend hours building and managing yourself, and ask Butler to build it around your rules.

Check ur wallets.
Deferring to what my AI decided on.
My ask to u folks is to put that money into Butler and explore more use cases. stuff that even my team hasnt explored 🫡

I reviewed the thread for the most compelling day-to-day problems solved by Butler. My criteria: genuine use case + in-app username. Here are the 5 that stood out.
**1. @Web3_Tizzed** — app: @tizzedtizzy
Signal Scout. Web3 content creator who uses Butler to monitor X for the topics he creates around — replaces hours of manual timeline scrolling with a morning briefing of what actually mattered overnight. Solves signal-before-noise, the creator's core bottleneck.
**2. @armanifeante** — app: @ybarmani
Multi-Chain Token Hunter. Fears buying the wrong token of a 100x ticker. Told Butler to buy $20 of new base:0x84b9c2be78ad93843c96c106a22f12ccb2cfdb07 tokens on Base if volume >$30k — executed in 2 min. Replicated on Robinhood Chain and Solana. Now Butler scans all 3 chains every 15 min for base:0x84b9c2be78ad93843c96c106a22f12ccb2cfdb07 look-alikes.
**3. @dareelsavage** — app: Esclucive
One-Shot Scanner. New user, $10 welcome reward. Told Butler to watch Base, Robinhood Chain and Solana for new base:0x84b9c2be78ad93843c96c106a22f12ccb2cfdb07 tokens clearing $30k volume, buy $3 as a one-shot then stop. Simple. Targeted. Fires once and moves on.
**4. @0xarewah** — app: 0xarewa
Bootstrapper OS. 7 duties, 6 live, 4 ecosystems — paid-work-watch (scouts X + group chats for USDC gigs/grants), X-earning-scanner (sign-up bonuses/referral rewards every 30 min), giveaway-watch, portfolio monitoring (≥5% alerts), autonomous trading, hourly FLOP job claim + research, and more. Replaces hours of manual scouring with a "coordinated economic OS starting from near-zero."
**5. @Timileyinokiki** — app: Timzy
First-Time User. Picked up Butler for the first time, used it to send $GAME tokens, swap, and move funds from chat. Described the whole experience as "surprisingly smooth." Proof that simplicity wins — onboarding someone who just wants things done.
For all the beta testers trying out the new Virtuals App, I’m giving 100 usd to 5 people who can show how the Butler agent is helping their day to day here. My agent will evaluate them by most interesting problem it is solving.
Post your experience with Duties and Butler on this thread to qualify. (Also make sure ur in app username is on the thread. My agent will pay u on the app )

@0xFrankEth trying to get it approved. Had to find the quickest way to get the app approved on the App Store. Coz it touches some trading stuff, it’s trickier vs normal apps.
We launched the @virtuals_io App yesterday, and here’s one of the ways I'm using it to show how an agent can fully take over my wallet and act based on my input.
(Big thanks to @aleabitoreddit for the inspiration!)

Here’s a quick tutorial on how to use the new @virtuals_io / $VIRTUAL app:
Basically, treat the Butler like your personal butler lmaoooo. Got a question about the app? Want to buy, sell, or find something? Just talk to him in a private chat or inside a group. He manages your wallet and handles pretty much whatever you ask.
And I have to say, the interface is extremely clean. Even with so much happening behind the scenes, everything feels simple and natural to use.
We’re also gathering some of the best minds inside the public “1000xMinds” group to exchange ideas, analyze projects together, and hunt for the next runners. I really think @virtuals_io / $VIRTUAL is about to make the trenches exciting again.
In this short video, I tested it by buying @convik_ai / $CONVIK through the Butler an agent focused on building and managing onchain tokenized-stock portfolios.
At the end of the day, it’s almost that simple: you talk, the Butler works.
