#COP28
Climate change is a matter of life or death for Indigenous Peoples. Fossil fuels and false solutions threaten our livelihoods, lands, and territories. Parties at #COP28 continue to tout carbon markets and other trade mechanisms that require a continued increase in emissions.

Brent and Shireen were BOTH Americans. BOTH were killed while working on assignment. Yet for The NY Times Brent was “killed” and Shireen “dies”. Shireen was stripped of her American identity. Where she was killed is not even mentioned. Her age is irrelevant. Utterly Shameful.
@nbcwashington So sorry to hear , she was a pleasant and happy person , I looked forward to come home and watch . Prayers for her family and loved ones. Courage and strength.
