When your national priorities are wrong, because the wrong people are in power, you can spend thousands of dollars deploying drones to light up the Lagos skyline for June 12 celebrations, yet fail to deploy the same drone technology to help locate kidnapped and missing school children held captive in forests.

A government that can mobilize resources for spectacle but not for saving lives has lost sight of its most basic responsibility.

Children remain in captivity while Nigerian officials celebrate. That is the tragedy of today's Nigeria.

Update: Boko Haram is set to conduct an Islamic Graduation ceremony for over 100 forgotten women and kids who were kidnapped in Woro, Kwara State 4-months ago, where the Emir & Imam rejected Sharia. And, the cost of the ceremony will be added to the bill sent to the Government.

Back in February this year, Woro community in Kaiama LGA, Kwara North was attacked by a Sadiku-led Boko Haram faction, a Sahel Terror network slowly creeping down southern Nigeria, per Zagazola Makama.

They were angry after the Emir and Imam repeatedly rejected their imposition of Shariah in the community and then reported them to the Nigerian Army.

So they stormed the village on an evening and massacred over 200 people, in a two days operation; Incl. the Emir’s wives and kids, the community Chief Imam, a school principal, a headmistress and several students, and kidnapped 176 people including pregnant women and kids.

This is just one of many forgotten kidnap cases in the country.

Last April, Boko Haram demanded ₦3.7bn for 400 forgotten women and children they kidnapped in Ngoshe, Borno State months earlier, or they’d be executed. They then dared the Nigerian Army to come after them, Telegraph reported.

Sadly, one of the abducted schoolchildren kidn@pped in Oyo State, Ahoro Esinele, has reportedly died.

Days ago, photos of her in captivity showed she was already seriously ill. Last night, the kidn@ppers reportedly appeared on a TikTok live stream and announced her death, telling her mother they no longer had her child.

They may not have used a weapon, but captivity k!lled her. The hunger, beatings, cold nights, fear, and terrible conditions were too much for her young body to survive.

Her heartbroken mother said through tears: “I knew it. She was not very strong. On the day they were abducted, she only managed to go to school. Unfortunately, she never returned home.”

No parent should ever experience the pain of a child leaving for school and never coming back alive.

I have the singular honor of appearing in two courts in one day.

This morning, I am standing trial at the Kuje Magistrate Court with 13 others for demanding that the illegitimate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu regime release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Same time today, I will appear before Justice M.G. Umar, who is determined to convict me for calling his lord and master, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a criminal.

Regardless of these politically motivated prosecutions, the struggle for liberation cannot be stopped. No amount of intimidation, harassment, or judicial persecution can silence the demand for justice and freedom.

12. He didn't acquire any property anywhere while in office.
13. He never awarded any contract to family members.
14. His wife hadn't office, and allowed to mess with the state. She had her enterprises in UK.
15. Obasanjo had to come to Onitsha and spent 1-week bcos of peaceful environment.
16. He invited anti-graft to come and audit his administration, before handing over.
17. He refused to accept a piece of land, and gratuity and pension.
18. He never went close to State Govt House after handing over.
19. He never struggle to frustrate his successors policies.
20. Till today, he kept gifting multi-millions to Schools, Healthcare development, and entrepreneurship developments.
21. He even work as Chairman of SEC at the national stage without pay

If your definition of leadership is right you won't be against Peter Obi.

Only a selfish mind would see all these and still question it.

He ruled Kogi State for 8 years. Many people believe he is still ruling the state. That is also your state, no? So you shd know that he also plundered the state to the tune of multiples of hundreds of billions of dollars possibly.

His plunder is present continuous tense. Now he wants to convert it into future interminable tense.

When you run the math, all students in Nigeria's universities put together do not control an economy like this kind of guy. But you will avert your gaze from him & prey upon students to deflect from your complicit aversion, and even supine failure.

It is the duty of the state to maintain law and order, protect lives & properties and apply provisions of the law without bending back: LIFE FOR LIFE.

It is the prerogative of God to forgive offenders, sinners and other murderers on judgement day without anybody objecting to his decisions.

The state has no business of forgive or rehabilitate, forgive and integrate MASS MURDERS WHO HAD NEITHER A SENSE OF PITY NOR COMPASSION.

Within the last ten(10) years criminals of all flavours, shades and colors(Boko Haram, Iswap, arsonists, murderers etc) are being "REHABILITATED & INTEGRATED" by various state government's under a misguided amnesty program.

Just yesterday over 700 of & REPENTANT BIKO HARAM MEMBERS " were graduated after de- radicalisation training and will given an assignment in the same communities they terrorised in the past.

Relations ofctheur victims andxorgerckaw abiding citizens will now be considering high profile crime, take up their enemies. Kill them because state person, de- radicalisation, official assignment, monthly salary will be their reward.

Indeed many unemployed youth may reconsider their loyalty, take arms, move to the bushes and highways, become kidnappers and claim being Boko Haram with hope that if they are caught, they will free accomodation, free training, free feeding, automatic community watch official job and distict uniforms.

Such is the irony of being a criminal in Nigeria where law is bent to accomodate every. Ninsense.

How will you “unmask” a man whose life has never been masked?

I don’t want to get into the substance of the ongoing controversy, but we should learn to respect people who have made difficult and risky sacrifices for the betterment of our society.

Omoyele Sowore has his political views, you can very well disagree with him, even vehemently.

But his commitment to fighting for human rights and democracy in Nigeria can never be erased.

Sowore’s greatest weakness is his absolutist and very extreme principles.

He doesn’t easily see a middle ground.

He fights everyone in power, and defends everyone he deems as a victim of state oppression.

This issue could have been handled better, but we should be circumspect.

For over a decade that I have known Sowore, I’m yet to see a reason to doubt his integrity.

Some say he is working for the CIA, others say he is working for some political interests. If these claims were true, I am one of those who would have known.

Insult and fight Sowore for his political views, but don’t paint him as a dishonest person.

The SSS (DSS) tried to “unmask” Sowore during Buhari’s regime when they accused him of money laundering. The regime alleged that he went to Dubai to collect money to overthrow the regime.

They withdrew and abandoned the fake money laundering charge when confronted in court.

Sowore had never been to Dubai, and not a Kobo was traced to him.

I hope that common sense and sanity will prevail.

@GlobalInChain @sowore The fact that Sowore who over time didn't show preference for Christian faith, took time to reflect on the Crucifixion of Christ, and draw lessons for humanity from the event should elate anyone who sees the sacrifice of Christ as a lesson, Sowore's action is a sacrifice too.
