On the Directions of the President, International Islamic University,Islamabad (IIUI), H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi , Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET) organized the TECHSPARK exhibition. This event showcased final year design projects (FYDPs) of students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering (DME), Department of Electrical, Computer Engineering (DECE) and Department of Civil Engineering.
The opening of the exhibition was graced by H.E. Dr. Hathal Hamoud Alotaibi, President of IIUI and Mr. Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawri, President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce (ICCI) accompanied by a delegation from the chamber.
H.E. Dr. Hathal and Mr. Bakhtawri, during the visit of the stalls of exhibition, keenly engaged with the students and appreciated their work and potential.
On the occasion, President ICCI lauding the effort of the students said that the top 30 projects selected by the university will be provided an opportunity to display those in an exhibition at ICCI where they will have an opportunity to meet with industrialists.
The IIUI President appreciated the projects and said that exhibitions such as TECHSAPRK provide opportunities to students to get introduced to industry. He also directed on the occasion that job fairs shall be held at the faculties so that the university students may be able to have abilities to know the requirements of the market.
