The Bible tells such a different story than Christianity, it's a surprise anyone ever fell for it. How did this happen?

For centuries, most Western Christians encountered the Bible through Latin worship and the clergy, not by reading the complete text themselves. Beginning in the 1200s, Catholic authorities repeatedly went beyond the barriers of illiteracy and expensive handwritten books: they prohibited lay possession of translations people could understand, confiscated and burned unauthorized editions, and under the 1564 Tridentine Index required written Church permission even to read an approved Catholic translation. These controls continued in changing forms into the 1800s. The Church deliberately denied ordinary Catholics unrestricted access to it. And non-Catholics? Well they were heretics 👋 and kept things to themselves, or face often fatal consequences.

Far more time than needed to construct their own story, which was taught to generation after generation as "God's truth". Say anything different and be labeled a heretic. Men decided "God's truth" and forced everyone to follow it. Protestantism made hardly a dent, retaining almost all Catholic doctrine to this day.

This is how the "other gospel" replaced the Gospel of the Kingdom.

It's up to us commoners to restore the logos of theos to His rightful place. Expect resistance.

Every major biblical occurrence of this specific emphatic Hebrew construction (or very close parallels), it refers to physical death as a certain consequence or penalty, usually invoked by or in reference to YHWH. It does not function as a reference to spiritual death in these contexts.

The fact that Lord Jesus uses the word "ransom" in Mark 10:45 to set people free from YHWH's covenants tells what kind of Lord YHWH is.

λύτρον (lytron): Neuter noun, accusative singular. It means "ransom," "redemption price," or "price paid for release/loosing." Rooted in λύω (lyō = "to loose, set free, release").

In the ancient world and Septuagint (Greek Old Testament), it referred to money paid to free a slave, captive, or prisoner, or to redeem a life (e.g., Exodus 21:30).

5. Jesus references Deut (YHWH testing Israel in the desert 40 years) when the devil tempts Jesus in the desert 40 days

The same tests that YHWH used, the devil/Satan used:
a. Hunger / Bread from stone: Jesus refuses and quotes Deut 8:3
b. Testing YHWH / The Temple jump: Jesus refuses and quotes Deut 6:16
c. Idolatry / Worship for kingdoms: Jesus refuses and quotes Deut 6:13

Key distinction: Serve in Shema/Deut 6:13 (worship) is not the same as Prostrate / bow down (worship).

Jesus did the Father in Heaven’s will — “hallowed be His name” — to fulfill, complete, and bring to an end YHWH’s Abrahamic (flesh circumcision) and Mosaic (sacrifice) Covenants. He did this by serving "avodah" these covenant laws in full, ending the covenants from within the system itself.

6. YHWH in Hosea 13: 4-8 / Beast in Revelation 13:2

Dead Sea Scroll 4Q37 / Deut 32:8-9 YHWH is not the Most High (Elyon), sons of God are not sons of Israel.
Divine Council (Psalm 82) with sons of the Most High which are also referenced in Deut 32:8-9. YHWH appears as one of the sons of the Most High according to the oldest reading preserved in Dead Sea Scroll 4Q37. The Most High assigned the land borders to the sons of God, and gave YHWH direct contact with the group of people called Jacob/Israel, as YHWHs portion.
