I came across this beautiful sentence:
“Every time you open a book and read, a tree smiles, knowing there's life after death.”
I’ll be thinking about this every time I pick up a book.
This sentence by Dostoyevsky hits so hard.
“You sensed that you should be following a different path, a more ambitious one, you felt that you were destined for other things but you had no idea how to achieve them and in your misery you began to hate everything around you.”
@mybmcwardKW@latajoshi11@mybmc The team had visited but the situation is still the same. In fact even less water today as well. They had promised to increase the water pressure but sadly nothing has claimed at all.
2 months. No water. Constant tankers. Residents in Manish Nagar, Andheri West (K-Ward) are fed up with the negligence. @mybmc @MCGM_KWest please address the water shortage in our society immediately. Basic amenities shouldn't be a luxury! #BMC#Andheri#Mumbai
@AstroCounselVik So true. Me too virgo moon sign here. You have so aptly described the feeling of emptiness that is happening right now. Hope the new chapter will be a better one. You really have a beautiful way with your words.
a beautiful friend passed away last night. in her honour, here’s the last poem she shared with me 12 days ago. she sent it after a conversation we had about how poetry often holds clear pointers for spiritual practice, hidden in plain sight. like her favourite lines here:
