Excellent response to a question I submitted to the @DineshDSouza Podcast regarding the Big Bang Theory and the creation account in Genesis. I encourage everyone to watch his daily podcast. You will learn a lot about politics, philosophy and Christianity. #God#creation#science
Here I respond to a question from my audience about whether the Big Bang theory about the origin of the universe confirms or contradicts the biblical account of creation given in the first book of Genesis. Buckle your seatbelt!

In a final letter to his audience, Scott Adams said he converted to Christianity on his deathbed at the advice of his Christian friends: “I accept Jesus Christ as my lord and savior, and I look forward to spending an eternity with him. The part about me not being a believer should be quickly resolved if I wake up in heaven. I won't need any more convincing than that. And I hope I am still qualified for entry.”

JUST IN: Yankee Stadium holds a moment of silence ahead of the Yankees-Tigers game for Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk after he was assassinated at an event at a university in Utah.
NEW: Thousands of worshippers in the Philippines stunned when a white cloud, resembling Jesus, appears in the sky.
Thousands of people had gathered to light candles and pray in Naga City, Philippines on June 14th, according to Viral Press.
The moment happened above a mass gathering near the Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Peñafrancia.
“Earlier that morning, the skies were dark and heavy. It looked like it was about to rain any moment. But as the mass progressed, the weather held back. Then came a powerful moment,” said one attendee, according to the outlet.
So cool.

@SpencerHakimian Adversary or not, if China's oil costs go up, so do consumer products and inflation in the US, with really unpredictable results and values
The ceasefire lasted for a few hours before it was violated. Hopefully it can be reinstated and there will be a period of calm. But no matter what, no ceasefire will hold forever in the Middle East. These are factions that have been fighting for centuries.
Trump can handle this stuff better than any other president in my lifetime, but there's only so much an American president can do when he's dealing with ancient blood feuds 10 thousand miles away.
That's why I want the US to back out of it completely and focus on its own problems. Call that simplistic or "isolationist" if you want. I don't care. Our country is in a state of existential crisis on multiple fronts internally. We don't have the time, resources, manpower, will, or ability to fix problems for other countries right now. We need to focus on ourselves and let them handle their own disputes. America first.
@CynicalPublius Not only that, we can't even take care of our own problems and pay our national debt. Who are we really to tell another country how to govern? Our government here is plenty dysfunctional. Self-care indeed. We need to get our own house in order.
Iran has begun bombing empty American bases in the region. The US most likely expected attacks in Syria, Iraq, and perhaps Bahrain, but Tehran seems to have opted to go after bases in Qatar and possibly the UAE instead.
This will of course have significant implications for Iran's relations with these GCC states - but also their relations with the US, mindful of their opposition to Trump's strikes and anger at him for disregarding their security and interests. And Tehran may also seek to show Trump that they are willing to strike back harder and further than he might have anticipated.
There is a scenario, similar to the 2020 strikes against Iraqi bases, in which both sides call it quits after one round of fire.
But I find that scenario unstable because of the Israeli element. Israel will continue to strike Iran and vice versa, and as long as that is the case, the Israelis will continue to put relentless pressure on Trump to join the war in various ways.
None of this would have happened had Trump rejected the first step that Israel pushed him to take - shifting his red line to "zero enrichment."
That misstep deliberately set up a cascade of events that predictably led to this current war.
Trump's only exit out of this is to discard the Israeli red line of zero-enrichment and return to the American red line of no weaponization.

@JackPosobiec “We will measure our success not only by the battles we win, but also by the wars that we end, and perhaps most importantly, the wars we never get into.” — Donald Trump, Inaugural Address, January 20, 2025
For those saying current events are a "loyalty test" to find out who's loyal to Trump, I say if you were ever loyal to any man, you're a fool. You should be loyal to PRINCIPLES, and you should only support men or women who themselves are loyal to those principles. I've said this consistently: I worship no man, and I place no man above principles. If Trump follows the principles he claimed to support -- peace, transparency, accountability -- then he has my full support. If he abandons them, then he earns my criticism. This is the only intellectually honest way to interact with the political world.
