My youngest uncle. He was sentenced to 5years of imprisonment for standing up to the regime in #Iran , they kept him imprisoned for 7years total and executed him in the #1988massacre #StopExecutionsinIran

During the summer of 1988, 30.000 political prisoners were executed in #Iran within a few weeks.

The executions were ordered by a “Fatwa” issued by then supreme leader of the Islamic Republic, Ruhollah Khomeini.
