A few days ago, I saw someone I respect heavily promoting this conference, "The People's Conference for Palestine" and someone else I respect sending me a screenshot of a number of genocidal being listed as co-organizers & collaborators.
Lets learn more about them🧵
Tigray: Letter from Africa Minister @AndrewmitchMP: civilians are”experiencing unacceptable suffering” & “humanitarian indicators in Tigray are extremely worrying.” With so many other crises it’s crucial international community keeps focus on Tigray. @martinplaut@Sally_Keeble
I‘m Tigrayan, not Palestinian.Over z past 3yr, my ppl faced dehumanization, violence, & famine by z regime-costing a million lives. I staunchly oppose the indiscriminate bombardment & besiegement of 🇵🇸 in Gaza. I stand against #Genocide unequivocally. #Tigray#Gaza#NoToViolence
The number of civilian casualties in #Gaza is staggering.
The limited aid flow is a mere trickle of the growing needs.
Without urgent, unrestricted access at scale, tragedy will continue unfolding before our eyes.
The conflict started on 7 October, the first aid crossing was on 21 October. Since then, @WHO has only been able to transport enough supplies for approximately 370,000 people, including for traumatic wound and burn care, and treatment for serious chronic conditions.
The population of Gaza is over 2 million.
We need access, now, to deliver far more health supplies.
We urge safe movement be guaranteed for humanitarian convoys across Gaza - and an immediate humanitarian pause. There’s no time to waste. Every moment matters.
We have lost touch with our staff in Gaza, with health facilities, health workers and the rest of our humanitarian partners on the ground.
This siege makes me gravely concerned for their safety and the immediate health risks of vulnerable patients.
We urge immediate protection of all civilians and full humanitarian access.
Confidential documents appear to show how the Abiy government tried to discredit the global health leader with allegations of embezzlement and sexual misconduct. https://t.co/3LtCIsLUFI
