A little glimpse of what I’m building in Unreal Engine. Still early, but it is coming together!

@IndieGameJoe@Radoslaw_Klasa Man, it's getting harder and harder for indies to do the marketing, especially when your game idea is everything! Eventually, someone with more resources may beat you to the market.
This is going to happen more and more.
Your Steam page should be one of the first things you make, not something you wait to launch after months of polishing. Especially when your game is just an idea!
It’s every indie dev's worst nightmare.
I created this concept for the GMTK game jam. I held off on my Steam page to obsessively polish the mechanics... and it just got cloned and shipped. Probably mostly with a simple AI prompt.
Here’s my original build vs theirs 👇
@JonDevX@kunchevsky i think around two days ago he had like 100 as he mentioned in his posts, and now my guess is around 500 but hard to say! mabe more! All I know is that the ratio of views to wishlists is low!
That’s cool, man. I think the views come from your focus on highlighting how AI helped you do this or that, since AI is a hot topic that people love to give opinions on.
I know many indie KOLs like Joe won't cover AI-focused games!
Hopefully you can convert these views into more players.
@jlanderson2010@kunchevsky Yeah, I don't have anything against AI itself, I think he markets the game to the wrong audience or at least making your marketing about a fight between people who love or hate AI is not a good thing you get views yes but it won't help you get players!
