It’s a disgrace to be a taxpayer in Mumbai.
The financial capital of the country should NOT feel like a city being held together by patchwork and prayers.
Broken.
Incompetently patched up.
Riddled with bumps.
It’s the same story across every SINGLE road in this city.
Dropped a friend from Fort to Sion last night and, apart from the Freeway,
almost every stretch was a reminder of just how badly this city has failed its people.
For a city that contributes so much to the country’s economy,
the state of its roads is nothing short of embarrassing.
The irony?
Taxes are collected with clockwork precision.
But when it comes to delivering even the most basic infrastructure,
accountability is nowhere to be found.
Mumbai deserves better.
The people paying for it certainly do.
@KartiPC@NTA_Exams You should also shut down all the shopping malls since there might be a theft in one of them. And close the roads because I heard someone was speeding.
Since the story is paywalled, I've posted screenshots of the start and end of it. Foreign media seems to be covering the alarming direction in which Indian equities are heading, with a lot more detail and candour than Indian mainstream media.

We do exist inside a simulation…
But the simulation is inside our head.
You see, no creature in the universe sees reality as it actually is.
It’s too much data.
We exist in an objective world that is information-based…
Our brain acts as a GUI…graphical user interface…like a VR headset for our consciousness.
Our five physical senses take in all that data and render a simulated reality in our minds.
Your thoughts, emotions, beliefs, habits and expectations flavor and filter the information as it comes in.
Directly influencing the output of the mental simulation.
So…when I say, your thoughts co-create your reality…
Now you know what I mean.
Don't wish to be friends/lovers with polymaths attracted by their intelligence and expanse. You will be scared of his expanse and their complete comfort in casually discussing things that scare you or make you very uncomfortable. They reside in the world of ideas; and no discussion is anathema to them.
This range and comfort is found in individuals with strong Jupiter-Mercury connection.
The initial attraction is to the breadth. When someone truly resides in the world of ideas, they often lack the psychological immune system that most people use to filter out disturbing or taboo thoughts.
It is one thing to admire a map of the ocean; it is quite another to be dropped into the middle of it where there is no sight of land in any direction.
Also, it is not that they know all things. They connect them. This can make a conversation feel like it’s moving too fast, jumping from a casual observation to a terrifyingly deep existential conclusion before you've had time to process the first point.
What may shock you into disbelief is the realisation that their comfort zone includes territories you've cordoned off. They will walk through those cordons without even noticing them, because for them the tape was never there.
This is newly elected Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde.
She went to the hospital where the injured of the Mulund Metro slab incident were brought.
Called her cameraman , grabbed a bottle, put it in the patients mouth and got a perfect photo for PR.
Everyone is a PR Jeevi in BJP.
0 Regards for people, only caring about their image.
Educate your children, help them qualify NEET, then get them admitted.
Instead of doing that, they shut down a medical college. What kind of mindset is this?
And on top of that, they are actually celebrating after getting a college closed.
BJP Mumbai President Ameet Satam of ‘Gokhale Bridge Misalignment’ fame has nothing to show as work, his municipal corporators across K/West’s 13 Wards are ‘collection agents’, rent-seeking across every commercial establishment.
No wonder all he can think of, is spreading hate.
Japanese tourists were mobbed, harassed, and verbally abused in Varanasi — then forced to apologise for wearing a swimsuit and a Santa Claus hat.
Let that sink in.
A country that claims “Atithi Devo Bhava” A city that calls itself spiritual Yet guests are publicly humiliated by a mob.
Wake Up, India: Your Plate of Chicken Could Be a Prescription for Superbugs & Hormonal Chaos ‼️ 🆘 🚨
Every time you eat chicken from industrial farms (which is 95%+ of all chicken sold in India), you are likely consuming:
• Antibiotics far above global averages – India uses antibiotics in poultry at levels 3–5 times higher than the global average for chickens.
• Residues of multiple antibiotics (tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, colistin – the “last-resort” human drug) routinely found in Indian chicken meat & eggs.
• Growth-promoting hormones & steroids – completely unregulated in Indian poultry, banned in 160+ countries.
• Arsenic-based drugs (roxarsone, nitarsone) still legally used here to make chickens grow faster and look pink.
• Heavy metals, pesticide residues and faecal bacteria because birds are packed 15–20 per sq. ft. with zero sanitation.
Consequences on your family’s plate:
• Antibiotic resistance – India already has one of the highest AMR death rates in the world (≈1.2 million deaths/year linked to resistant infections).
• Hormonal disruption – early puberty in children, infertility, PCOS, obesity linked to steroid residues.
• Cancer risk – WHO classifies several poultry drugs as carcinogenic.
• Weakened immunity – chronic low-dose antibiotics destroy your gut microbiome.
Yet no mandatory testing, no withdrawal period enforcement, no labelling.
Questions the nation wants answered from the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying:
1. Why is Colistin (critical for human medicine—still legally allowed as a poultry growth promoter in India when WHO says “restrict immediately”?
2. Why are steroid hormones banned in the EU, USA, China, even Bangladesh, but freely used in Indian poultry with zero monitoring?
3. Why is there no mandatory pre-slaughter withdrawal period enforcement and zero routine testing of chicken meat for antibiotic & hormone residues at retail level?
4. When will FSSAI make it compulsory to label chicken as “Raised with Antibiotics & Hormones” vs “Antibiotic-Free”?
5. Why has India still not banned arsenic-based feed additives that are proven carcinogens?
6. When will maximum residue limits (MRLs) for veterinary drugs in poultry be brought in line with Codex/EU standards instead of having 5–20 times higher limits?
Your butter chicken shouldn’t come with a side of antibiotics, steroids and superbugs.
Demand #CleanChickenNow – because health can’t wait.

Perhaps for the first time more people have died investigating a blast - than the original blast itself.
Shocking preliminary details coming form @NayanimaBasu on the Nowgam blast.
🚨13+ dead
🚨Delhi car blast evidence gone
🚨Blast triggered due to unchecked fuse or ‘remotely’
