Looking forward to seeing the new exhibitions for 2024 at Abbot Hall art gallery @lakelandarts.
It replaces Julie Brook's exhibition that I reviewed for the December issue of @theFourdrinier

@ErlandCooper@alex_kozobolis I loved reading this piece @ErlandCooper
Saw you perform in September - it was a wonderful evening at Left Bank, Leeds.
Inspirational
: )
I'm a writer for @theFourdrinier would you be up for collaborating on an experimental piece with me? Can incorporate sound, visuals.

thinking of great examples of art in the public realm for @bradford2025, and how loved it can become to it's communities, given the right commission for the context @NedLunn @Miriamaok
The Church of Morning - version 2
- the tree outside my window.
I took the panels of sky bounded by branches and changed the colour of each
This is a more stylised version of the image I posted yesterday
omitted from the spoken word hit 'everybody's free (to wear sunscreen) / the sunscreen song (class of '99)' by @bazluhrmann, I believe.
🧐
Now there's a surprise @commanderwhitby ... or do I take this as a weather beaten command, lingering in sunny Scunthorpe from circa 1980?
We’re trying to get as many followers as Rishi Sunak so we can show the government just how many people are prepared to fight for the NHS and its staff.
Please can you help by following us and retweeting this?
Thank you @NedLunn.
I'm so grateful to you for hosting my visit to @Bfdcathedral yesterday afternoon. It's going to have an ambitious arts programme going forward - I loved hearing about your plans & ideas for the city of culture year, presenting a fusion of faiths and culture.
It's a stunning exhibition in two beautifully appropriate spaces. I visited yesterday, blessed by the winter sun (as seen in the photo posted below ⬇️)
@NedLunn@JohnMcArts Sorry, it's more likely Coniston than Windermere. By the time I've reached Ruskin's House by car I'm confused about many lake shores I've skirted to get there
@NedLunn@JohnMcArts Never mind #Ruskin, with his posh house overlooking #Windermere. What would he have known about city dwelling and the need for majestic industrial and trade buildings that lift the heart that bit closer to #heaven ?
Pious my bottom.
@AndyBowerman@Bfdcathedral@NedLunn yes, I'd love Dean @AndyBowerman
thank you for this introduction to @NedLunn
Coincidentally I've been engaging with a tweet of his about Ruskin this morning. Turns out twitter is a small place!
As you mention sketching @JohnMcArts, here's one I did yesterday ⬇️
Please read my tweet explaining that it's to help a couple of #homeless lads sleeping rough in #Leeds
all retweets welcome☺️
